I'm not saying we don't have corrupt Police but I thank God that I never had any issues with Police. Infact I once stucked in the city because I didn't have enough money to take the matatu to go hone. Then one Police Officer saw me standing near the matatu for quiet sometime asked me why I was standing there I told him that I was short of money to pay the matatu fare. He quickly took 200 shilling from his pocket and gave me.and told me to jump in matatu and went home . Until today I praying for him

@@hulala512 Bro u can find it in almost every country of the World, but in few African countries it is too much. Almost everyone wants money from foreigner there. They are spoiling your countries name. Spesialy they target Asian people's.
Me and my friends had a problem with two corrupt cops in Brazil and one of the cops took a $8000 dollar professional video camera from my friend. We decided to teach the cops a lesson so we went and bought a tracking device and we planted it on the cop car and we followed him around for 3 days. We watched him visiting numerous women and prostitutes so when he came outside we walked up to him and said we want the camera back and that we were going to show his wife everything that he did. One of my friends was waiting outside of the cops home and we showed him pictures of the front of his house. We got the camera back and he gave us money so we turned the tables on him.
I also had the same problem with police officers in Kenya. They stopped me for not putting on a mask and took all the money they couldn't find on me. The good thing I had some money hidden where they couldn't find, that's how I was able to return home
My friend this place is called Globe roundabout, very notorious for corrupt police, Especially plain clothes policemen and women as well. You can be caught for committing a crime and another person is doing the same thing every other day just at the same spot but they catch people whenever they feel like...... like just randomly. Here in Kenya the law is not same for everyone. I've been caught at that same spot thrice. What they do is that they get very rude with you and scare you. you'll rarely find a cop that has caught you to be polite with you but the thing is that once they know they become your friend and you'll never be in trouble again. And some advice.... never carry alot of money with you and if you do have a lot of money always try to hide it and just keep some lose money to show him that you dont have much and of all just try to talk yourself out of it. its much better then to waste your time with them.
Whomever told him to go down town is not good anything can happen to you there & nobody will know please avoid that area I'm Kenyan & know what I'm talking about
There are too many stories in Egypt Bro. I will tell you mine. I was visited some small town near Cairo a bit norther that Cairo. My friends Egyptian invited me to visit a park and there you should by a ticket 500 pounds. I was with action camera and man check tickets look at it and says we should pay for a camera 2000 pounds. For free only with cellphone camera. My friends start conflicting with him and saying he is doing sh*t. Shout shout... Finally i have stayed my camera in car, but he didn't believe me and didn't let me go in. Conflict started again. After i shown him camera in car and he let me in. It was just a regular park, not even museum. Guys check tickets just do business there, because park is beautiful and many couples before wedding going thete taking professional pictures and they just forced them pay 2000 pounds. It is illegal and corruption of high level
Another story. When you are going to Cairo international airport, approach by car to entrance gates and don't stop there, but there is an officer pull over you and taking your driver license and saying you violate a traffic law and giving you 2 opportunities. 1st he taking driver license and you need go to police station in Cairo to pay a fine there or pay 200 pounds to him directly. I asked my friend what traffic law did he violate. He said he doesn't know. Police asked for money and that is it.
I was in Port Said and walking on street. came to several stores there. I was shocked to find out that stores belong to Army. And worked there actuve solders. It means there is no any market rivalry. People with guns and power doing business in country. I am afraid to find out what is going on with regular business man if he open a small store in front of their store. I have never seen in entire life that army is doing retail business. And active solders instead of protect country selling coca cola in stores
I've been to it before, the Uber was a bike, it doesn't stop at the red light, it just drives, the air isnt nice, when walking in the street many people try to follow you to steal something, but I had fun , there is a certain fun in danger, It was nice to visit
Kenyan police corruption is the worst in the world. Particularly if you are a foreigner. For two years, I lived in Kenya and was subjected to this on a daily basis by Kenyan police; we had to bribe them to get out of handcuffs. Those who cannot afford to pay for a bribe will be charged with a fictitious crime and deported because we are illegal immigrants living in the country with no rights. Kenya's police corruption is an embarrassment to Africa.
Yeah right a corrupt copper wouldn't have got cuffs on me a second time that's for sure especially when only 1 of them and it's illegal they can only arrest in pairs!
Bro I came from canada to stay in Kenya for a while police are corrupted here. You should have called your lawyer swearing isnt illegal and they took money from you which is illegal tbh you should sue them.
