- India's First Flying Electric Taxi 🔥
Founded in 2017 by IIT Madras Professor Satya Chakravarthy, The ePlane Company recently received design organisation approval (DOA) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
They are planning to commercially launch their flying taxi by as soon as 2025.

Finally they want to jam the air as well😂
Fr
Huge concequences
😂
After that underwater traffic
Wondering how will they decide pickup point and destination because as it is a flying object there will be limitation to land and take off
Oh yes they maybe choose your terrace to pickup 😅
@@Mayankmishraa23clothes hanging on rope
We need to change that tbh.. Maybe, a separate room for drying clothes? Sounds about right, doesn't it?@@55dXY
😂@@55dXY
When they can't fix roads they choose air😂😂😂
Fare per km = ₹2000
It aint gonna be that high. Maybe around 100-250 per km
If it's electric, don't think it'll be that high
Electric it should be
I am waiting for it
The maintainance cost for the upkeep is very high for electric vehicles.
Many are commenting whether it's practical or not but I would appreciate their bold step and often breakthrough achievement are attained out of these crazy ideas.
And i thought IITs have the best minds and still all i see is software based startups and such flying car type thing😅
You are a pessimist. They are engineers. Not theretic physists. They have designed hyperloop. About to come. These are indian Elon musks. Brilliant. You need to chill
Bro is hitting a nail on bench for every word he speaks
Does not sound practical but would be interesting to see how it turns out.
Rich people will drool over it.
@@suchender801time>money
Why doesn't sound practical ?
First Aeroplane also didn't sound practical.
If it was in usa , you would say wow!
bro belive it's make lot of noise
but when you compare with sounds on Indian road it can be melody to ears 😂😂
I don't wanna hear on mid air 🚁🛸that """ today i forgot to charge the vehicle and it's now at 1% battery remaining"""
❤❤long live india
even if it does not succeed the lessons learnt would surely be helpful in creating similar other startups and products
One passenger (who pays) in the cabin, two hanging on the doors (left and right), another two on the top … Bravo!
How they control accidents. Love to see the overall idea instead of just basic idea explanation ❤
Yes, I totally agree. Infact I think there will be alot of problems with granting licenses to drivers and I definitely want to know how they will handle it.
Those propellers will generate too much noise. And, that'll cause problem.
Thts awesome... All the best!!
Amaxing
Yea..you should look at their first scale model... Its totally different from finalised rendering
Dr. Jhatka entered the chat..!
So... Basically a small helicopter is what they're building . Nice 👍🙂🙂 build it cheaper and i will buy one.
200kmph speed and 200 km is the range 😅 so u jave to charge it every hour
Also the projected range can barely meet the actual range as it's tested under controlled conditions..
Change the battery, no need for wait...just charge the battery then
@@zucc2802 true
@@tarunmandal6103 yeah as if batteries are dirt cheap..
@@zucc2802 You idiot, I am saying instantly change the empty batteries with the charged batteries and in the mean time change the empty batteries and when its full charged give it to some other flying car that needs it at the time and so...
When I think of drone delivery or something, I always have a fear that people might throw stones or something at it.
No stone can reach 100 meter above ground buy just throwing.
@@LMD11 not about stones but there are a lot of disadvantages than its advantages.
@@sudeshnanayak7370what are the disadvantages ?
@@LMD11 Have you ever gone to Indian congested colonies?
😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂brilliant
Can 4 persons sit?
Its very unsafe!! But still i want to see this happening ..!
I don't know what is wrong with people we want everything perfect in one attempt we need to change it because it is not possible. If you can't motivate someone and can't appreciate someone hardwork , courage and risk taking than don't discourage them . We should appreciate our entranoprenours if want Indian brands to be international and successful our dream of made in India. Without risk you can't do business .
Why the hell comments section is so negative ?
Because there's been hundreds of these aerial taxi startups worldwide and none of them actually worked, it's still a concept for the future because there's no need or demand for this
They are just jealous they couldn't make anything lol
@@mrchad3287 There were thousands of people tried to fly before Right brother.
Aryabhatta wrote mathematical equations in poems when there was no practical use of it , you can't get anything without trying.
He can sell the technology and progress he will make along the final products and can get rich , the possibilities are endless.
Every equations in the world is a small yet significant step for science.
@@2minbusiness I agree with you, this concept will definitely be useful in the future
But speaking of the present, there are many needs and requirements necessary for this commerical service to happen in India ( and the rest of the world) for eg
1.) The taxi can't take off and land anywhere, it needs landing pads just like helicopters
2.) The drivers need to have a pilot licence which is very expensive to get as of now
And let's say aerial taxis starts in India this year... there'll be huge protests everywhere from local taxi drivers who's jobs will be at risk
There difference between being negative and being logical.
Not gonna work cuz there will be some limit on height for aircrafts tk go. Air taxi will be very high priced licsence will be another big problem aircrashes will increase
Again some nonsense assumptions
@@ai6476 it is not nonsense tho
Yeah now someone with no job will tell iit madras professor what will work and what will not. Cmon let him do what he believes in don't throw your assumptions. No body believed that someone could go to the moon until someone for the first time did go to the moon.
@@ai6476 ok bro even if everyone learns how to drive? Dont you think the no. Of crashes in the sky will increase, and that to no 2-3 ppl what abt planes and stuff
@@aayush21 yea and to this day the common man cant afford to buy a spaceship can you?
Okay from Bangalore
This needs in Bangalore 😊
The best way to beat Bengaluru traffic 😊
Bhai they are making mini helicopter 😂
But yeah bahut limitations hai flying cars ke
Is this really simple???
Challenging
When are the booking going to start??
Any link or advance payment systems
We still struggle to maintain traffic in roads, it would be hell of a job to maintain the same on air!!!
Bruh this tech companies should focus on devolopment of rural areas
Professer s Chakraborty
Can solve traffic problem
It will be tangled by cables 🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
It is a good idea but this should be used for ambulance and military purposes imo. It will get better value.
One of the mentor for developing flying unmanned vehicles in IIT madras
Ajith kumar sir ✨
Vinata aeromobility also there like this startup in Chennai
Forget about being practical, main problem is cost. Ek cheez ko hawa me udana aur jameen me daudane me energy difference bahut ata hai
Is this start up even practical🙄
It's just like starting your own helicopter service where they are designing their own flying machine , that's it.
And ofcourse it's going to cost heavy to take an air taxi, and majority of the city people won't take a cab because of the high fair, so what chances do these flying taxis stand😶
Atleast now we are doing something
Chennai❤
Tell me about from udaan B2B online, and jio mart
Where will they do pick up and drop
Rope drop for youth
parachute for old
And death drop for free travelers 💀
Would ve useful for emergency medical attention, sort of an air ambulance and people travelling to the airports.
Better we can make something as flying doctor for rural areas
🤡 😂 scam alert
Like your mind
Does it fly?
Main proble with these kind of vehicle is sound. Only Helicopters and drone sound cause damage to your eardrums think of multiple vehicles 😐
Ur city of Bengaluru has no parking space for this
Well the fare for that vehicle decides it's future 😅
2023: Road traffic jam
2033: Air traffic jam
2043: Kissan Jam.
Range is very limited only 200km 🤷🏽♂️
Not practical at all when u think about it it will be way too complicated just imagine an air trafic jam or and drunk air taxy driver crashing in ur home on 10th floor or
Par iske liye taxi driver ko pilot hona padega
How are flying cars different to electric helicopter 🤔. Helicopters have much higher than efficiency during hovering
Work from home is simple
SOON AIRWAYS WILL BE TRAFFIC...
I don't know how much it cost
Birds be like 😐
Indian service based companies are theifs without mask!! They want to make 100+% profit and give free speeches in public..
Not even single company invested in R&D these engineers better sell these technologies to USA!!
People tend to forget that we already have a flying car / taxi. It's called a helicopter. 🤡🤡
Fule
Sorry what ? Staddaap? What does that mean ?
speed of 200kmph and range 200 km , quite not possible yet , lets see what happens
9 11 will happen everyday if flying taxis exist
Copied from China company, 70 percent imported from China including the controller... What 😂
My idea 😢
China has already made that
Banglore😂
Internet cable me fas ke gir jayega
I think you shouldn't post concept stuff and focus on interviews with the company people
What about Birds???
See one more WhatsApp University graduated 😐
He is right. The birds may die by accident and we won't even notice it.@@Best-jj6zt
Air taxis aren't going to succeed. Not just in India, but anywhere.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Twin towers everywhere
Poor birds
Cry more 😭
So you don't care about the birds?@@Best-jj6zt
Manufacturing never took off in India as China.
These are nothing just gimmicks.
It will take time. We are exporting a bit. So don't be so surprise of India is right behind China in exports.
Failure.
Won't work
That's actually a bad idea. Imagine the noise pollution it will create
It won't be a success 😜
Lest see in future for now don't spread assumptions
@@omkarpawar5762 it's not assumptions, and the fact is that EV is not healthy for the environment,it's all nonsense that EV are green and clean source of energy....
