no, you're hearing the hydraulics of the bay doors opening and the weapon racks lowering
Yeah me too I heard that

I can tell just by looking that these planes would be as aerodynamic and stealthy as a giant flying farmhouse.
Forward swept wings are very maneuverable but also incredibly unstable. The F-22's design is key to its stealth, all the wing surfaces on the same planar line (the wings and horizontal stabilizers line up with each other, reducing cross-sections.
@@jamesfrank3213 Exactly, just because you want aerodynamic instability to fight, you also want the aircraft to be aerodynamically sound when it's just doing its normal flight. The design of this thing was based on the Northrop "Switchblade" concept, which never left the design stages as wind-tunnel tests and computer models (by late 80s early 90s standards) showed that the COG would shift drastically during the wing sweep. Add to that the external stresses caused by the design and speed, and it's easy to see why the idea got scrapped before a prototype could be built. That said, it's not impossible for aircraft of this design spec to be built or fly, especially with modern Fly-by-Wire, the problem lies with the inherent issues forward-swept wings present, what forward sweeping wings present, and what variable geometry wings present. All of these factors make it unlikely any air force will put such an aircraft into service.
@@Tank50us not really, the hard part of a forward facing wing is that it needs a lot of inflight corrections to keep itself stable which was posible but incredibly dificult and unsafe with 90s technology, but trivial with modern computers tech
@Brittania lmao xd
Actually they're fairly similar to the X-29 which was quite aerodynamic and stealthy. It was notoriously difficult to fly, though.
The VFX and quality of this movie is really good for the year 2005!
Hats off to the director for the CGI and emotion and background score !!

Ok I think in seeing it now. All the A.I. cares about is the mission
He seems to lack moral judgement.
I guess it only took you 14 years
It knows the pilots are unwilling to attack so it attacks to force them support it
You see the problem with having robots in place of humans?

Maybe it lacks the programming?

who put such high capacity speaker on an stealth aircraft?
With AI evolving at a staggering pace IRL, this movie feels a lot more ominous...
This movie was epic who agrees with me, they should make a sequel on this movie.
I agree with you
In this woke day and age? Nah...
At the very least, it should be given the love it rightfully deserves. It could have been just a aludge-fest of pro military jargon, but the writers decided to give some real existential thought to the story. The idea of EDI and the question of how much trust we should give to digital warfare when it becomes so advanced that they start to gain sentience, its played out beautifully by this film. Not by forcing it down your throat, but by gradually making the audience care for the well-being of a machine. EDI's sacrifice in the ending holds so much emotion because of the character development behind him. With all it's faults, it's story still holds up despite it. If anything, it's an underrated cult classic. And I'm more than happy to have been able to have this film as a personal obsession as a kid.

@@docnathan3959 Actually when you're that high up, details of the ground get muddled, so this gets a pass from me.
Here you can fully admire the fine cuisine of the crusted Jpeg - Max0r
This scene is hilarious when you consider that USA never cared about collateral damage.
So having a stealth plane means flying close to the ground, targeting a stationary object while directly in front of and towards enemy fire, and firing guided missiles that could have been fired at 30+ thousand feet in the air? Color me confused.
Is a movie!
@@casimirobuenabista that isn't an excuse is a descriptor
The only good movie to portray the military as tactically competent besides some ww2 movies, is shin gojira from japan
The idea is to keep guided missiles from being able to lock onto a target to fire. This is called nape of the earth flying. You are flying very low to the ground so enemy can't see the planes with their eyes.
@P. A. no plane is ever truly stealth. All stealth planes do is reduce the surface area of the plane that the radar can see head on and have shapes that are less reflective and some special paint but it's not too effective. If there are multiple radars, they can see you pretty well on radar even if you have a stealth plane.
Tbh u can barely notice that this is from over a decade ago the cgi still good as hell movie great

The man at 2:09 😂😂thumping hard

it's an absolute pity that no one bothered to make a sequel of the Stealth!!! because it rightly deserves one . . . if you observe the fact that the carrier borne manned Talon stealth fighter, (flown by Josh Lucas) can actually be a 100% practical carrier borne fighter for real!!! mean in reality!!! I'm sure aviation design engineers will agree with this observation!!!
No dude it’s not aerodynamic at all
@@rin4566 It's stealthy and fast but hard as heck to fly which is why when they have things like this they would have it be flown partly by a computer like the B-2.
@@randomentertainingvideos3545 No that's not the point. It's not just hard to fly, it's also incredibly unaerodymanic. The wing configurations, stabilizer positions, engine locations/vectoring, airframe proportions, lack of advanced surface controls, limiting pilot visibility/no visual aid equipment, it's not that hard to see that it's just not suitable for a next-generation attack/fighter aircraft.

This was supposed to be either never released or go direct to video. Jamie Foxx had made Ray before he made this film. When Ray exploded, and Jamie was considered for an Oscar, they released the film. It isn't a terrible film if you look past the bad acting. I own it because it was in a twin pack with Blue Thunder, one of my all times favorites. Just a few thoughts.
Just watch man of steel superman, same angles and camera fast zoom in techniques, this movie was so ahead !!!!!!

Cool scene, but what lunatic designed an unmanned system and didn't program it with the correct authority chain for orders. Really think they would've caught that one in bug testing. Then again, I'm convinced the bot was programmed by chat GPT anyway given its primary objective of survival is something Asimov would've come with, rather than anyone with even passing familiarity of military matters.
