80s was hands down the GREATEST era for 80s music.
Which makes sense, considering it was made in the 80s.
You could literally say this for any era, the 90's was the GREATEST era for 90's music lol.
Sorry to joke haha
But I do agree with you!
@@Brandon2940 Ah, but what about the 1890s? They had some good 90s music there too!
Logical.
That is... undeniably true
I'm actually impressed at how well the movie footage and the band footage blends together. The lighting is almost a perfect match.
It's definitely better than most soundtrack music videos, where they just randomly cutaway to footage from. The respective movie..
Then it was all the same annoying soft rock songs, and like water a bite of cheese in the fridge, a couple werk cokes, bills and short money. Who cares. Its hilly. Watch them anyways, I dont like bruises on my patient/friend.
It's because Dokken was on the movie set!
Its a family thing to tell another family member, not to trust their advice about other girls --

The 80’s was the greatest time ever!
It was truly the time of Sex,Drugs, and Rock and Roll.

Agree! The 80s was an amazing time. And for music, man it was almost equal to the 60s. Almost. But overall decade, awesome time.
Marcos C you just named the best parts of the 80’s for me! Great times!!
Marcos C dude! You still build models too! That’s awesome! I never stopped building them either. Working on one as we speak, and I needed to get a new charger for my RC truck. I refuse to grow up, still a kid at heart! If you want a real blast from our youth, listen to Hair Nation and Yacht Rock Radio on Sirius XM. That is seriously the best of all the music from our era!

They was HARD rock & glam metal, not simply rock
Certainly one of the bands that defined it, yes.
And Freddy Krueger is the very definition of 80s horror. If couldn't be a better fit.

We had the best of everything in the 80’s. Music , movies , tv shows ,the way we dressed , hairstyles , it was so authentic. I miss it a lot . No cell phones , no social media , hyper connectivity, just great friends the best music and hard work . It was the best !
Yep, so worth it to be old now to have been young then.
Wish I could re-do the 80s. So many bands I would go see

This is one of the dumbest statements ever. As if the 60s had nothing going for it. And the 70s were far superior musically.

Why the 80's where so perfect?
The reason the 80s was so perfect is because movies and songs like these made it so
Yes INDEED...
Im sure the 80's were a hell of alot better than today and i know the music was much better
How come 99% of all the people who grew up as teens in the 80's miss it so much ?? 😥
It was because we were approaching the climax of the Cold War and thought that the world was about to end.
So, instead of worrying about material things such as sex, food, and money, we tried to find a higher, transcendent meaning in childish ambition, patriotism, and happy music/films/pop-culture. Teenagers became *king* !
When the USSR collapsed with such a pathetic whimper, it all evaporated. And it has only gone downhill from there.
Ways to defeat Freddy Krueger :
. Not being afraid of him
. Burying his bones and using holy water
. His reflection
. The power of Glam Metal
"The power of Hairspray and Heavy Metal" LOL
they used Aqua Net Hair spray
And a killer solo from George Lynch!

I admired that even though Freddy killed the Dream Warriors of the Dungeon Master boy and Bad Ass girl, it still took courage to stand up and fight him in the first place rather than just run away. Not every Dream Warrior wins, some lose their lives, but their willingness to fight evil still deserves respect.
I loved and also hated Nancy's sacrifice...... Heather Langenkamp was the best final girl in the OG.....
But I love how far Patricia Arquette has gone in her career, easily the best and most successful actress from NOES franchise!!!
Well said 💪
Always had a degree of admiration for any intended victim who, knowing what they are facing, stand and fight the darkness and fight vs beg or run in these sort of films. Well said indeed.
A nightmare on elm street part 3: the dream warriors is hands down the best sequel in the franchise because the characters are great and enjoyable the story is awesome, the ending is one of the few horror movie endings that makes me sad, the kills are awesome and Freddy Krueger haves the right amount of scariness and humor in this movie and it haves a great soundtrack.
Ah yes.... The haves and have not's..... 😆
i love it as well
My favorites are 3,4,5 because it’s a full story that takes place after Nancy and gives her a proper ending and 4&5 were just cool special fx wise in my opinion
I actually have to agree on that number two was kind of garbage but it was still good in its own way and really none of the other movies can touch the first or the third
Yes Yes Yes!! Parts 1-3 are the best hands down.
I say this with a tear in my eye, god dammit I love the 80s so much!

Here in 2022! My favourite seen in this movie is when this kid who is into old school Dungeons and Dragons is asleep dreaming. Freddie Kruger appears on the seen to get this kid and the kid sprays Freddie with a lightning bolt from his hands. Absolutely hysterical. Harry Potter would be blushing. I would've done exactly the same thing myself. Of course Dokken is one of the great bands of the Age of musical Wizards. Masters in every genre of the time. There will never be another decade that can remotely compare. At this time the world is coming to an end in any case.

Lynch said in an interview: “They built this elaborate horror set for us for the video. And we were in the trailers, you know they had production trailers. We’re suppose to be getting ready, and Freddy was all in make-up. So he looks like - he looks in ‘Nightmare on Elm Street”. Which was kind of bizarre to be sitting there talking to a guy that looks like that you know. He had the gloves with the blades on and we were doing coke (cocaine). So, he’s using his blade fingers, to serve up coke to everybody. With the knife hand thing. It was kind of surreal. I mean hey, that is a long time ago, that is what everyone was doing back in the day sorry, but it’s a true story.
I was so high (on cocaine) during the making of that video. I couldn’t bust through the wall. There is a point in my guitar solo where I am suppose to come crashing through this wall. The wall is called a break away wall. It’s made, so that it looks like a real wall, but a fly could break through it, an infant could break through it. But I was so high and so weak I couldn’t even break through it. And they had to keep re-setting up the wall, and re-shooting it because I couldn’t fucking get through it. They thought, ‘Oh Lynch is buff, he’ll get through that thing no problem’ - which is why in the video, you watch it, I am laughing.”
Fucking Great Story ! Thanks my Man 💋

I remember watching this video back in the 80s on MTV when it first aired.. I didn't even know a 3rd nightmare on elm street was released. Saw the video and that same Night bought tickets to go see it at the theater. I remember standing room only in back of the theatre. All seats sold out. The crowd was pumped and cheering. It was awesome times. Still a Dokken fan today. And love the nightmare movies.
