This 12 year old gaming pc has never been cleaned and it's in my store today to get the data transferred to a new computer . It's cool seeing this old tech still running. Even out-dated technology like this 11 year old video card is still more powerful than a lot of integrated laptop GPU's.

Built mine about 13 years ago, first gen i7 860,still use it to this day, does everything I need, no gaming, I've had to put I new cooler on a few years ago and replaced the hard paste, SSD etc.. Been great.
I have to say, some of the older parts are built far far better compared to today, the new stuff almost looks cheapo in comparison.

I always forget to change the thermal paste on my CPU cooler. Last computer I had stopped working right all the time, and that's probably what caused it. 12 years without changing the thermal paste.
It's still somewhat usable. Only issue is that there's intermittent connectivity issues with the SATA bus.
