That pirates voyage event is really awesome to see! I was worried that there would be no music being pumped in from the show, but I'm glad they do! And seeing the water parade so up close like that, that's gotta be impressive.
If I was a kid again I would've LOVED to do that on our trip.

This was a wonderful video summarizing the items that make the Contemporary Resort so good! I fully agree with your assessment of the Contempo Cafe; this is one of our family-favorite quick service places and YES, that peanut butter pie is one of the best desserts on property in my opinion! Thanks once again for a great video Molly; you are so punny!

Molly, love the contemporary. Was fortunate to spend a vacation there over Thanksgiving in 2015. Lots of great food options. Great overview and I love the sound effects with the bread and dip! You add so much to the videos with your personality and fun. Thanks!

The Contemporary is a wonderful place. We've spent lots of time on the 4th floor eating, shopping and riding the Monorail. We've stayed at Bay Lake Tower, the Contemporary's child, 3 times, but never stayed in the original Contemporary.

I’m the girl in the background with the purple hair at the Pirate Party fireworks voyage! My mums the lady with the red hair. It was so much fun! I was too nervous to go say hi but I love your videos and it felt like such a treat to get to be in the background of one of your videos!
We stayed at the Contemporary in the late 1970s when a tower room was $65 per night. We also saw the dinner and show at the restaurant that was at the top of the building at that time. Steve Allen and his wife Jayne Meadows were performing. The California Grille is my favorite special occasion restaurant.

Re: discounts...you also get your 20% discount on Pandora items as well. That’s pretty big since the prices at Disney are pretty much the same as any other place.

The peanut butter dessert looks like it's on a tart shell (pate sucree) and vanilla pastry cream which is just custard. Looks yummy 😋
Just watching vids because I just booked a night at BLT. We did the Pirate's and Pals for my 3 year olds actually birthday 7 years ago. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it!

You should do a "best fireworks.....meal/desert/add on" like the Pontoon boats at Epcot, California grill, Rose and Crown...Mexico....etc. Even a grab and go dinner at a picnic table at the Polly.

I think contempo cafe has the best quick service in all of WDW. Their staff was so accommodating to my gluten free request. They even brought our food to the table.

California Grill has amazing food and the ambiance there is very nice. I definitely want to stay at this resort next time we go. Have you ever stayed club level here?

Video idea....have you ranked the resorts like you do the parks? Granted you'd have to stay within the 'price categories' (moderate, deluxe, etc), but it might be kind of fun. Each one has perks...each one has drawbacks....each one has different activities....I'd love to see more about the resorts....especially in comparing costs.
If you are guests at contemporary can you get direct reservations by contacting hotel or do you have to wait for the 60day Window on the app like everyone else?

We had brunch at the California Grill earlier this month. It was AMAZING. I actually picked up the reservation 2 days before using a reservation notification app. All night I debated canceling due to the cost. So glad we didn’t. The meal was delicious! Champagne... all you can drink and very nice. It was the only meal we had all day so didn’t seem like the cost was that bad considering how full we were. We did have beignets for a snack around 9 (another Molly recommendation).

I love how the rooms came in that way. So cool! That being said, Contemporary is soooooo expensive. Your videos are so fun and informative! You have such a fun, wonderful, and bubbly personality. I am going for 5 days this June, and staying six nights in a resort, I will probably stay in All Star Music, for it is the cheapest one. But, I’m waiting for some great Costco deal. I am in a dilemma, I don’t know which one to do again! I won’t do Magic Kingdom again because in LA I have most of those rides. Which park do you recommend doing again, excluding Magic Kingdom?
Maybe do a thing called “research” Future World rides will b closed y many walls will be up. Do animal kingdom

@AllEars Molly I know. My Dad took me to WDW three months after it opened in 1971. We stayed at the Contemporary and I still have an 8mm film Dad took of me driving one of those little speedboats. I asked about it because we'll be down there in December and I thought it would be fun to drive one all these years later.

they're disneyparks ears, not a current pair being sold, I believe they're from last year so you'll have to find them from a reseller, I believe they were called magic mirror so that might help in your google searching.
@@xWhereswaldo thanks. It's weird though; when I find those online, the bow looks...different. Molly's bow has no creases in it at all, almost like it was ironed flat, whereas the ones for sale online aren't quite like that. Eh, whatever - she'll still like it, I think! Thanks again.
