The 70s section: Those are MOOD RINGS. They were iconic of that period.

The Mickey phone was an actual “design line” phone sold by Southern Bell in the 70’s.
I stayed there in early January in the 60’s section. Easy walking and close to the Skyliner, Hippy Dippy Pool, and main building with the lobby, shop, and food court 👍
Is the skyliner also close to the 70s section just trying to plan and figure out where it is

Love POP! Of the 8 times I have stayed on property, the most nights (15) have been at POP. Not planning a trip right now but hopefully sometime in the next 2 years.

I’m going in April too! This is my second time, but last time I went I was pretty young.
Hope you're in the 60s section - it's the best near the big pool, pool bar, transportation and shops/dinning.
First time we tired Pop that's where we were and it was awesome. Room facing the Hippy Dippy pool with everything just steps away. I could literally watch my kids swim from the balcony outside my room door. Second time we went back to Pop I took a gamble and picked the "standard" room option without a specific section to save money. Boy did I regret that! Ended up in the 90s section in the building farthest from the center of the resort. That walk to and from our room everyday was hell and the view was just trees and the parking lot.
Hope you were able to reschedule. We moved ours from May to September.
Molly, I can't tell you just how much fun we had in Disney last week and because of you and your videos we did so many different things, from making a scarf at The Art Corner in Disney Springs to getting that arial zoom picture in front of The Plaza. We even tried to do the Monorail crawl but missed our last stop, The Grand Floridian because the monorail stopped running...lol!!! I just wanted you to know much I enjoy watching you and keep the videos coming!!! Thank you for helping to make our trip more magical!!

I plan to Walk the trail around the Resort in the Early morning or later in the evening with my SON. He Falls asleep on long walks.

Me and my 12 yr old son just got back from Disney World yesterday with other kids from his school. We rode a charter bus from north Ga. This past mon. & stayed till fri. Morning. Best resort especially if you have kids!!
we have booked Pop for the week of Thanksgiving. It will be our third stay at Pop. We love it so much. Great value.

Pop is actually one of my favorite hotels, as I get 90% of my entertainment at the Parks, so I just need a bed and a shower.

We absolutely love Pop Century. We were lucky enough to get connecting rooms that were listed as preferred but they ended up being right next to the splash pad for the kids. It was amazing!!

You could sell ice to an Eskimo. My wife and I just made a week’s reservation for the first week in December (previous recommendation) for Pop Century. We stayed at Pop for one day last December, and decided to stay there instead of POR (much less expensive and on the “gondola line). Thanks for doing the review there, and I will take 20 pounds of “ice” please.
@AllEars Molly We depend on you for excellent recommendations ..... the food ones are great and we can always tell the ones you REALLY love by your eyes....they POP ! (perfect description while doing POP hotel review).

We went to POP last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Skyliner is a big plus. The refurbished rooms are wonderful. We were in an accessible room, and it was spacious for a value resort.
Stayed there in December, had a great time and the Skyliner is the best $$$ Disney ever spent!

Love Pop Century! Centrally located and gets you to the parks in 10 to 14 minutes. Very clean and food court has fresh and unique items.
We stay here almost every time we go to Disneyworld, great resort for the price and now it's even better with the skyliner!

We stayed there feb.2019. The refurbished rooms are awesome. We stayed in the 50's section. Not far from main area.

I stayed there when I went to disney world about 3 months ago and I loved it
Stayed here in 2011 and 2019. We recommend the 60s if you don't need quiet mid-day. Loved being near pool, bar, laundry, and transportation.
I watch a lot of review videos on CZcams. You do a really good job with pacing and material.
Top choice to stay for my Fall 2022 trip
Thank you for the video Molly! We are staying at Pop Century for the first time in early June! We usually stay at moderate resorts, but decided to try something different (and save some money). I am a little upset with the new reduced bus service to HS and Epcot because of the Skyliner. I am not too keen on the idea of going on the Skyliner, so I guess we will have to make sure we time the buses well, especially in the morning for rope drop!
Was our favorite hotel by miles. Now we simply can't stay there because the gondolas are taking away from bus service. We're terrified of exactly those kind of heights situations if that makes sense. Now bus service is reduced and it's already a nightmare, and we were told bus service will be discontinued there all together within a year.

Thinking about it for our next trip in Feb. Always so crazy when we went and there was some sort of competition going on.

I'll be there in April! Looking forward to it... Wife and I stayed at Beach Club in September and splurged big time. Now, I'm looking to see how much I can save and still capitalize on being at a Disney Resort! And, thanks for the last bit about the SkyLiner schedule. That's my biggest concern is that the SkyLiner will break down or stop running and then I'll be stuck scrambling for a bus in the wee hours...!

We just stayed there at the 50th’s Building very convenient the gondola 🚠 system, room super cute, there where a few issues but management resolved them super quickly. Would stay there again.
Make sure you are cool with elevated exterior corridors, or request a 1st floor room. I ended up with a 4th floor room and discovered that my fear of heights meant I couldn't deal with it. I ended up telling them I couldn't use the room. They were OK with it but it would have been better to request 1st floor from the start.

Yes coming in April 2020. We’ve stayed there once. We try different resorts. Coronado was beautiful last summer. French Quarters is still our favorite. Christmas there 2019. Not sure what’s next for summer 2020. Love your ideas. Your fun to watch.🤓😎❄️☃️we are in Pa.
We just stayed at Pop the first week of January! My husband got sick with the flu and management took great care of him. We loved it there and will definitely stay again!

We stayed here in April 2019, we were in the 90’x area. We had the queen and Murphy bed queen. The room was fine but the 90’s was a long walk to the bus stop.
