Great job!! I went to work many years ago for a cutting rrainer, the tack room/vet supply area in this super expensive show barn OMG!!! I finally got it cleared out like y'all did and got new cabinets installed and the permanent saddle trees installed. I was a vet tech before and all my on hand meds HAVE to be organized in specific order. When anyone had touched anything in MY barn I knew about it. My trainer got chewed on quite often for his messy behavior, eventually he got pretty decent at cleaning up after him self!!!

I agréé. You should have a rug rack. I don't have one and my rugs were just piled up during the Summer. A mouse made a nest in one of them and lots of holes in my rug. ⚠️
You should make sure the room is insulated & temperature/ humidity controlled to keep the leather tack healthy and the rugs dry even in damp weather. A metal medical box for the horses & a first aid kit for humans are both a must have. Anything you don't want or need you could donate to a special needs riding programme in your area. They are always in need of equipment as they usually are very underfunded.
I realize this is late, but I just found you guys! I'm in love with your life,lol. Use pool noodles in your boots to keep them upright and help keep their shape.
