- Changing the Top Speed
You must check your local laws and regulations to determine if it is lawful to ride this bike on public roads before adjusting the bike’s top speed. Laws vary by trail, path, and road so be sure to check in each new location you will be riding.
To change the top speed of the bike:
1. Access the settings menu by pressing and holding the up and down buttons of the display simultaneously until the screen says “P01”.
2. From here you can cycle through settings by hitting the power button of the display and adjust the settings by pressing the up or down buttons.
3. Please go to setting “P08” and change this setting from 100 to 25 (Suppose you want to adjust the maximum speed to no more than 25km/h).
4. Press and hold the up and down buttons on the control pad until the main screen is shown once again.
5. Power the bike off by holding the power button to save the settings you have just changed. - Sport
somehow if you put top speed at 67km/h it removes limit

just got an h8 went thru all the settings maxed out the top speed. I have yet to open it up all the way and yet I got it up to 40 the other day. I am having issues with the energy bar going to zero and the bike not working. They sent me another one I am putting together today. Also, the lights did not work and the rear brake did not work. The reason I bought this bike is not because of the bike it is because of their stellar support which I am now experiencing and yes they are taking care of business. So I did not want to wait to get a replacement until after they received the faulty bike so I bought a second bike. I will use that box to return the faulty bike. Yes when it worked it was a blast. I live way up high in the northern CO rockies and where I live 30 degree inclines are common. No one rides bikes here not even teenagers. I wonder what people think when I am following their car going 40 mph. Again no one rides bikes here and the only ones I have seen in 11 years are 2 other ebikes. Whoop!

I can only set mine to 62 how do I make it go to 100
the 100 is the kph setting, if you have the untis set to miles it's converted to mph

62 is normal, I think your display unit is miles. If it is km, P08 can be adjusted to 100
What do you mean by top speed. I thought top speed was 35mph.
Can make a video and explain how and why you would change top speed
The motors are capped at it for after but, you can take the cap off because the motors are strong enough to go faster
I have a h7. How do i make it go faster than 30mph?
Does it have a m5 display
are the smaller digits 25kph?
yes, you can change the speed freely through P08
@@philodobikes I've done 2000 km on my ph8 so far haven't had any issues just brake oil needing topping up great bike
By setting display, the speed can be limited to 25km/h

hey when i wasresearching for e bikes that heybike caught my eye, i however went with something else, you should go low speedsettings if you have somewhere far to go to preserve ur battery and prolly shoud use the 20 mph at the max. 28 mph is way too fast

How did you get PAS5? Mine only goes up to PAS3 which is 25km/h
any solutions my does the same
So what you have to do is the speed limit on your bike is preventing your bike from going full speed with is 50 kph, or 31.2 mph.

lol you Ebike amateurs😂 go to 05P and set the PAS from 0-3 to 0-5, you can also set more PAS till 7 or 9 but then the ( PAS) Pedal Assists are off, like i have my Ebike set to 0-7 so PAS is from 0 to 7 because i feel i can accelerate this way more fluidly and have more speed presets to choose from but because the range of PAS is higher/more levels you have to accelerate through the PAS levels like: 1,3,4,2, and then 5,6,7 and there's not much speed difference inbetween 5,6 and 7.
The advanced explanation is for reference only, just keep it at 0-5 so then you have 5 levels of Pedal Assists
Btw i know all the advanced settings from 01P till 18P but some Ebike's have even more settings or they are put under a different number but it's generally the same kind of settings to set/choose from😉
Oh and to answer this other guys question: the top/highest PAS number is the top speed which you set at 08P

The first step is to ensure that P08 is 100. If the settings are correct , the speed may be restricted. Please refer to the video of h8 speed limit

100 is the maximum number which literally means turning off the speed limit
100 is the default value. If you don't want the speed to be limited, you need to adjust P08 to 100
