Good match ups my cuz, I'm a bit biased but in all your match ups I would go for my breed in every one except Bill the bomb, I knew him well and he was exceptional, I pick him reluctantly because of my respect for the legend and gentleman the great Johnny Francombe who I look up to and had the pleasure of being on the same site as him as a young man and you know Joe the respect he has amongst us travellers, but Bill the bomb was something else.Cant wait for part two . Even though you have to respect the fact the Roy was a dangerous dangerous man, I think Mark Ripley ( unbeaten) would of been just a bit to much for Roy. Andy Till v Jimmy Stockings well who could ever bet against Jimmy not me! Bill the Bomb v Jonny Frankham I’ve gone back and forth on this one, finally going for a close Frankham win, although Williams was and could of been capable equally of winning this match up, due to Jon having more experience I’ve opted for him. Johnny Love v Lenny McLean well as I know very little of Johnny and untold of Lenny’s life I will go with Lenny although he lost to Cliff fields who had a similar build to Johnny so who knows ? It’s only opinions but I’ve enjoyed it all the same 👍

Joe was some good lads around our area. Haven't heard you mention alot of them . I don't know if you knew Boyd Farrer he was a Hayes lad very useful light heavy weight . He beat Kevin paddock . Kevin paddock beat Lenny McLean . Boyd was very nice guy very quiet very very fit and could really hit. I was with him one night and in a pub in Hayes and two local boys came in trying to take a bit of money of the landlord who Boyd was friends with . These two lads was well known in the area you for sure would have known them any way Boyd knocked the pair of them out with a left and a right at the same time hit one with the left and the other with a right when I say knocked out had to get ambulance down there out sparko. Boyd kept himself to himself but could really have a fight in and out the ring. He spared alot with Tony McCann harrow lad don't know if you knew him. Wonder if you ever come across Boyd. He boxed pro and amateur. ?

I was only a welter weight young and stupid I spared with Boyd and I was doing ok what I didn't understand at the time was that he was just going through the motions not punching hard and I took the piss and really started punching into him and I honestly thought I was getting the better off him then all of a sudden he must of thought little prick and gave me a right hander rightly so . He pulled the punch as well as to not knock me out I was all wobbly for 10 mins . Taught me a lesson ha ha. The initials were m.w and T.w sure you would of known them.
Ant think of the w. Brothers might need a bit more help on that … regarding sparring you have to just every now and then let them know who the governor is 😀🤙

Roy started boxing in his 40s, well out of his prime. Defo a hard nut, obviously on the spectrum. They probably all are.
