- we are putting 7 more holes in out self built home on wheels ...my campervan is getting prepared for a future idea we have where we will need to wade through water so adding a bravo snorkel to our vw crafter man tge will add a load of safety for off grid in Norway.
we also finally got our cab blind sorted thanks to voyager adventure vans with there thermal black out blinds. this will change vanlife and make my possible escapes so much quicker.

Those voyager adventure vans blinds are way better then expected for sure
Love the blackout blinds, we shall check those out as we just use a normal sunshade when it gets too hot, mainly to keep the cab cool for the pup!... Fair play putting that snorkel on yourself is a brave move, but looks great, keep safe out there and safe travels 😊☯️

I used to look by every now and then when you had the Transit Connect..., but since you bought the Crafter, i've really come to enjoy the channel and make surenow that I catch all of your offerings. Good videos with, lots of variety, entertaining, informative and..., sometimes rather exhausting to follow your speed of showing us, and talking about a multitude of things within the 20 - 30mins of your videos. None the less, that is your style and I like it, even if I do feel I need to go lay down for 10mins after watching. Carry on being you, doing your thing and lets hope you reach 100'000 subs before you reach Norway. Take care and start saving... Norway is damn expensive, oh and make sure you fill up your tank before crossing the border..., diesel is a luxury product over there!

Surly if you need a snorkel you’ll be driving in water at a meter high, thus leaking water into the van and destroying everything inside, the main fuses are below the seat height. Pointless unless I’m missing something here?
So with the snorkel are you going to drive in deep water then? or was there any point getting it? This is the first video i've ever thought why the hell did he do that lol
They create cooler and better airflow to the airbox I.e. your not pulling warm air that is around the engine space.
@@jamesfrench8015😂 nonsense. Air is taken in through the front of the vehicle. It’s the exact same temperature as the air from a snorkel. It’s no cleaner either. And even if it were it makes zero difference, that’s what an air filter is for.

Not all snorkel are for going through water, some are to keep the Australian outback or African dust out to keep air filter cleaner, but it's best to have snorkel intake facing to the rear of the vehicle on dust or water snorkel.

Aye he's no the brightest. I mean realistically whats the need of a snorkel anyways especially on a campervan.
If you look at fitting diagram at 1.54 it shows the head facing forward I’d rather go with the fitting guide than comments also most vehicles have air intake from the front of the grill for more airflow and if it was reversed would cause a vacume behind it reducing airflow
There is built in drains on the head and in the air box
Why dont you have a black out curtain ,that drops behind seats . Then when you rotate seats .
You can drop it behind them again . Giving you privacy ,and ease of access ,plus keeps the drafts out .
Seen as in colder times ,the glass is going to be your biggest thermal loss . And vents .
Thats just me mind. They look tidy. Id just get miffed up and down frequently.
Thought to myself, surely you won't be driving through any water streams that high (3m) I've driven through streams that cover my wheels and all good.
You just need a bit of wd40 to remove the sticky residue. 😊
