Good Day Lyndon we love watching your videos from Caura with Mr. Bat, Harry and others.
My Deceased Father used to take us to Caura since the road was Gravel and there was
access to only the first pool. I was only ten years old then.
We used to get fresh fruits, Primrose, Cashew, Mangos , Pomarac and others. We
    caught fishes especially Crafish etc.
Ever since we grew up visiting this beautiful river to enjoy the Scenery, Cook and Bathe.
Today I am retired and live in Toronto but must visit there whenever we come on vacation.
Lyndon thanks to you and the Strong Young Boys , M. Bat and his buddy, I really enjoy
seeing your videos, you relive my historical past which I show to our adult kids and
    Grand Kids.
I will contact you on our next trip to accompany us to visit with the Young men .
Thanks again and God Bless you all .

Sounds like you had a magnificent childhood! Definitely have a lot of good memories to share with your family. I coordinated my visit almost a month in advance with Mr. Lyndon Baptiste, and Lyndon was a very gracious host. The longer lead time you give Lyndon the better so he can help you plan a smooth visit, but definitely a worthwhile trip to make in my experience. Cheers.

Hi, Annmarie, welcome and thank you for your comment. Hearing about your father and his commitment to work and 11 children is special; and reminds me that perhaps I need to do more for my own family. I had the good fortune of meeting Mr Bat (by chance?) then Farmer Harry. Because they are natural in their natural environment, it feels like the good old days are alive and well (barely? I'm not sure). I'm happy we're able to work together to bring this your home in Brampton. God bless you too.

For the non-West Indian audience across the globe, the word MANACAL (as in MANACAL VALLEY) means GRU-GRU or GRU-GRU-BEF which is a specie of PALM TREE with a very thorny trunk, and it bears bunches of round, hard, yellow fruit the size of ping-pong balls. It's also called the MACAW PALM as Macaw Parrots love to eat the flesh of the hard nut inside the GRU-GRU fruit. Additionally, wine can be made from the SAP of the GRU-GRU Palm; something Mr. Harry may already know, or heard about. So MANACAL VALLEY got it's amazing name: GRU-GRU VALLEY or GRU-GRU BEF VALLEY because of the Palm Trees and the MACAW PARROTS.
As for SADA ROTI (the type of Leavened Bread or Flatbread made by Mr. Bat); it was brought to the West Indies by the Indentured Servants from India.
The word - SADA - means SIMPLE; thus, SADA ROTI means SIMPLE ROTI or SIMPLE BREAD because it requires very few ingredients to make.
Thanks Mr. Bat, Mr. Harry, and Mr. Lyndon Baptiste for being Life Coaches, and for teaching us that Happiness in Life comes from Self-Contentment and keeping things SADA (or SIMPLE) "Inside Caura".

Should I record it? If yes, let me know where to start. Do I start at the grocery? Or should I cut to a scene of me charitably handing over a white plastic bag. Let me know asap. Thanks.

Mr Bat died in June 2022. We recorded many videos together and from the start they weren’t posted in chronological order.
