Hi Roy you missed the adaptive cruise control it is great not only on highways but in heavy stop and go traffic (it can even sense a padyak) / lane depart warning / actually there is an air vent under each of the front seats facing the rear can be activated by the vent selection control, I own one and man I am a happy owner .969M price great buy.

I just had mine last Friday, same variant as reviewed. It is an awesome car at its price range. Never hesitated to get one once I saw its features. You just got to trust the brand. By the way, great review.
Hey!! How do you rate overall after a year + use? How is the dct gearbox overall?
I like this car a lot because of the features and the price. It's just underrated and needs reputation or marketing push. The reason why Chinese brands Geely and MG are successful is because Geely owns Volvo and co-developed cars with them, while MG, despite being owned by SAIC motors, has that British brand recognition. Still, Changan is a very good brand. Wait til you see the UNI-T and UNI-K, if they ever bring it to the Philippines.

Also, the adaptive cruise control is very helpful 👍
I understand the "Jerkiness" that other reviewers feel especially when driving Dual Clutch Transmission cars. I'm currently reviewing one right now which also has DCT and I have to say, the CS35+ isn't as bad. It's not going to beat CVTs in smoothness, though.

If I may ask, in terms of driving dynamics, is it advisable to choose the CS35 over the Coolray?
the CS35 rides a bit softer In terms of suspension feel. the Coolray feels like its shocks are tuned for performance which is good for the driver but I've gotten complaints from my passengers :-)
from my exp, if you want to have macho sporty looking type of cross-over go for the coolray gives you power and performance on the otherhand if you like a family well-oriented look you can go with the CS35+ but in the end both cars are great driven a coolray bc 1 of my friends owns 1 super cool but I choose the cs35+ bc of the adaptiveCC i'm a lazy driver
Our First option was Geely CR. But ended up with HYPE Cs35+. Compared all the specs, at the end of da day.. Mas lamang para samin si cs35 +. Value for money. Appearance kasi is subjective. Both cars are good. But for us Changan is better 😍
Have your own experience when you book a testdrive at Changan Commonwealth. Also a Hype variant.

my husband test drove this yesterday and he felt dizzy and described feeling like on a boat (dont know the term, is it floating) for a too smooth a suspension. Is it normal as a first time driving it and will he get used to it?
The CS35+ based on my experience, does have its suspension set for comfort and that floaty ride is certainly because of that. taste is subjective and there are people who prefer that. have you tried riding it as a passenger? that's where you'll feel it's benefits :-)
@@RealRoyRobles yes, i was a passenger at the back and felt very comfortable. A big difference in the coolray that we also tested yesterday. which is a bit bumpy as a passenger.
@@miadiaz6031 which do you prefer so far? I have a coolray, but I'd probably get the cs35+ if i were buying today, if only for the adaptive cruise control and the rear aircon vent.
@@jonmanilenio, really wanted to get the CS35, really loved everything about it (from ADAS to larger trunk, rear vent, smoother ride ) but my husband wins and will be getting the Coolray as he's the one driving.

That engine tuning seems a bit unstable. How was Changan able to get 260nm out of a 3 cylinder 1.4l engine? If another company has done better please let me know.

@@leonelltan5169 okay, I heard 3 in the video but still that those power figures are kind of high for that displacement even if its turbo charged. Has any other manufacturer done better? I'm genuinely curious
@@mindfreeze0838 im not an expert but those figures i think are very achievable nowadays. geely coolray has 250nm at 1.5l with 3 cylinders.
@@leonelltan5169 thanks for that, still Changan was gunning for the Coolray when they made this. If you want more power, trunk space and better ride comfort than that the Coolray, look over here.
The gr yaris is 1.6 liter 3 cylinder engine with 360nm torque
Just got my unit yesterday, remind to those who is not so satisfy with only 1 vent at the rear of the armrest..... There is also vent under the driver seat and passenger seat blowing cool air toward to the back seat. Cool.

You're trying too hard with your accent that you're already slurring your words. You didn't mention the Adaptive Cruise Control though, which is one of the main selling points of this variant. Overall, good review, but I think the prices have been updated already, if I'm not mistaken.

Im getting 10 to 12 km per liter on a 25km round travel with normal to heavy traffic

@@faisal8049 i can get up to 14km per liter light traffic especially on manual mode because i can shift earlier than the D mode
