Thank you Joo, a really great video again. The one thing I did want to mention is the SC panel buttons. I bought the CS35 Plus Hype variant in Baguio last week and the AC buttons can be pressed up and down. You can raise and lower the temp as well as the fan speed. I like knobs for turning, but this is pretty innovative and techie. Again, thank you for all the great videos

I bought this car last March because of So’s previous review, it has an ACC (and ADAS) which the coolray doesn’t have and of course because of the price, I encourage others to buy this Changan

I have a ...hopefully simple question to ask you about this Changan CS35 Plus Hype that you said at the time of filming this video was 969K pesos...I've watched a couple other reviews of it by other You Tube guys I'm sure you know and are friends with..this was in the last few weeks. They are stating the SRP is 1.140K plus pesos for this model and the top spec..the Luxe variant is maybe 20K pesos additional..
The either the is around 150K Pesos price hike...they are in the Manilla/Luzon area also.. what has happened? That is around 3K US dollars price bump! Do you know what is the "real' price? Did Changan raise the price on the dealerships? Or are dealerships trying to get a lot more profit per unit since it was such great bit lower priced than it's competitors that are similar features loaded ? I did see they have a current promo of 120K cash? discount on for a very few days duration...ends next week sometime

Just to remind those who hav concern on only 1 vent at the back. There are vent under the driving seat and passenger seat blowing out to the rear. And it is cool air blowing. Just got my unit yesterday. Thank you sir sojoo

It's great that the dashcam feature is 360 hahaha. This is so important because not all accidents happen in front. By the way, when the ACC is engaged during low speeds, does it steer on its own? Or steering input still comes from the driver? Great review, Joo.
no auto steering. driver has to manually steer the vehicle.
No active steering. As mentioned, I usually turn this feature off.
Back in the States, whenever my car broke and if it takes a couple of weeks to fix, I always get a loaner car while waiting for my car to be fixed. Is there a system like that with manufacturers or insurance companies? Because if there is, then this whole "reliability" debacle would be somewhat solved. So ano if masira, may loaner car ka naman. With Changan, if not available yet ang part, you get it for free. Not bad actually.

Very good video, thank you. Do you know if the 3 trim levels of the CS35 Plus are the same in all regions/countries? For example, I ordered the mid-trim (Hype, as it's called in some regions), and I'm not sure it will have all of the features shown in videos like this for the mid-trim. Thanks.

@@SoJooCars I was trying to cover everything. I am in another country and they only sell the "middle" trim. They had a 2022 on display, and I am ordering the 2023 (should arrive this week). However, I noticed there was no rear arm rest or air conditioning. It does have the 18 inch wheels. The salesperson also told me that it has the Android and Apple car play, but videos I watch say it doesn't? Also, the mid trim is supposed to have the adaptive cruise control, anti-collision, etc. but the model I looked at doesn't. It did seem to have the extra air bags. So I am really confused. I do NOT want to end up with the low trim, with 18 inch wheels on it, if you know what I mean? I would love to get a link to the official Changan factory brochure specs for all 3 trims.
I also considered this one, but still chose the Coolray Sports Limited. Idk pero iba pa rin yung dating ni Coolray kapag nakikita ko sa daan. And Performance wise, it's also good for it's price range

SoJoo tested the an old CS35 Plus that had 107,000km and it was being driven non stop so I am convinced the new one will be reliable as well!

Hi sir sojoo.. I have a concern regarding the fuel gauge Kilometer. The first full tank that we did, it inputs a 435km.. but during the 2nd full tank we did, it went down to 405km.. why is that so? Any idea or suggestion? Thank you 😊
The computer learns your driving tactics/practice/routine so it will really depend on your driving style

@@MADMTB9 most likely yes. the computer will re-calculate depending on how your mom drives, which is related to how the vehicle consumes fuel
Nice review as always Ju, my concern about buying these new Chinese cars are reliability. The Geely range excluded from this due to the Volvo input, so these new car's that are coming into the Philippines from China, still have a lot to do to encourage people to buy them and improve there reliability.
Also, major chinese brands (Changan, Chery, Geely, GWM, BYD, GAC) maybe new in some foreign markets, but they're not that "new" in building cars. Changan for example builds more car per year than Mercedes (2 millions plus). As someone who followed the Chinese car market closely, the progress of engineering maturity in the past 5-6 years was staggering. 5-6 years ago having technical assistance from an established international brand is still a big talking point, but it's not so much after 2020.

I don't think it's strong enough to defeat the Coolray in terms of sales, specs, etc but at least it's better than shitty Toyota's f*cking Raize which is expensive, low tech, with some welding issues
mahina yung ibang parts ng Geely ang bilis masira also the front shock absorber ang bilis bumigay, manipis yung paint sa ibang part ng body nababakbak. problema din ibang owners ngayon sa availability ng parts. nauna lang lumabas si geely sa market na may magandang offer pero di matatalo changan sa tibay. check the old cs35 plus na pang test drive nasa 100k plus odo na in just 122 days 24/7 endurance test and top 1 si changan among car brands in terms of reliability in China.
