🇳🇴 Subwoolfer: Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen reveal their identity at Melodi Grand Prix 2023

- It's confirmed: Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen are, in fact, Subwoolfer. The Norwegian singers (who sang "Give That Wolf A Banana" at Eurovision 2022) spoke with our Simon shortly after the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2023 in Trondheim.

We must thank the artists who did not want to sing it because we would have missed these two great artists, that was the best thing that happened to them and at least after so many years they managed to go to Eurovision
What they did was genius. After watching their documentary video, I surmised that they really are legit and amazing artists. It is in their blood and heart. I'm a diehard subcub here from the Philippines.
You can tell they were having so much fun last year, even with their tribute videos. 🙂

They actually revealed it a long time ago, why they sing: “worst kept secret in Norway”, as everyone did know or kinda know. Only foreigners and outsiders didn’t know, or understood the concept. Also because they are already well known artists so their voices are recognizable. Also it was all over that it had to be Ben and Gaute. People also forget that this was inky meant for Eurovision, as a fun and different entry. I hardly believe they where actually thinking staying masked forever. They are also both married, Gaute is a dad, and only 5 years older than me. I grew up listening to their music.
A lot of ppl OUTSIDE NORWAY knew but still kept the maskerade going simply cos it was the best, funniest thing with great performances. It was not abt really knowing who was under the masks.... it was them revealing and showing who they are. Like a present. You know its a bike yet when opening the gift and seeing how the bike looks and how it drives.... Its hearing them in tbis interview talk abt it. Its their enthusiasm. Its not abt 'its Gaute and Ben'... its abt who they really are.
The fact that you assume foreigners and outsiders didnt know 🤣🤣🤣 AND you say we didnt understand the concept? 🤣🤣 we all knew AND we LOVED the concept. THATS why the concept worked. Cos everyone who knew kept enjoying the concept. Its the fantasy abt it. Like Santa Claus.

I’ve known from day one that it was Gaute and Ben, both have very recognisable voices.
I’m glad they revealed themselves, so that most of the sceptics could see for themselves 👍😅
This foreigner knew it all along. Then again I've got a lot of connections to Norway and the other Nordic countries plus as you said their voices and many other clues ever since the beginning. I also love the concept. Then again it wasn't a difficult concept and it wasn't a difficult mystery. I know many Americans that have never been to Norway and they totally got it as well and we all loved it because of what it was. We played along because we loved the concept we didn't play along because we had no clue.

I'm not Norwegian and I knew Gaute was part of it as well. In fact being a fan of his he is what kept me interested.
