How to fix or replace ASUS DUAL GPU fans RX6600 RX6700 RTX 4070 etc
If you have an ASUS DUAL Series graphics card and the fans are worn or noisy, this is a cheap and easy way to replace them and repair your video card.
This applies to a wide range of models including the RX6600 dual, RX6700xt DUAL RX6750XT dual and many more.
I would recommend taking the card apart and taking a few photos of the wires and pin configuration, as they do differ some times, but the process is the same.

This has reminded me to check the fans on my RX6700XT, triple, as not checked since trfd to new case few months back. Interesting to note how easy it is to remove for cleaning. Thanks Mike and Kath 🐈👍
I am using the 3rd Asus Card with those exact Axial Tech fans, and never had any issues with them. However, my new GPU is not Dual and has 3 fans, but they are seemingly similar to what I had before on Asus Dual RTX 3060 Ti and Asus Dual RTX 4070.

Many manufacturers need to start making simpler fan shroud designs making diy repairs much easier and much more affordable imo 🥰😇💪👍. Sometimes I’ve found getting replacement parts and time isn’t worth the effort for many electronics these days ☹

Hi Mike. I just replaced the fans on this same card with the ones shown in the video. I just wondered if you know what size the thermal pads were for VRMs and VRAM? As the ones I took off just crumbed to bits so I couldn't really measure them.
think they were 1.5mm

I have a dual 7600 oc v2, the fans for some reason dont like working with msi afterburner or any non amd apps. Really sucks.

Hey Mike! I want to make a 5000$ PC build sometime in the near future,still saving money for it,the thing is i dont want to use thermalpaste for the CPU ,I want to use the fallowing thermalpad Thermalright, VALOR ODIN, 15 W/mK , its 15w/mk ,that is in the league of thermalpaste , so theoreticaly it should do good cause it has the same performance of an artic-mx4,in fact the pad is better than the mx4's 8.5 wmk,what do you think?should I do this ?can I succeed?or am I wrong and the wmk of the pad is just a flop?!
edited because I left out the fact that I want to use the pad with the CPU and CPU cooler

I was considering thermal grisly's ,but all of their pads are electricly conductive,the valor odin is not e.conductive, so the v.odin is the one i chose! Thank you Mike for your reply,good cheers m8!
I have a Pulse 6600 and the fans are super loud even on the lower rpm. Gives me a headache
this one seems to be pretty quiet, at least with the replacement fans

6600 is not exactly a good card lol that prob why you got it cheap , many of the amd radeon fans can be replaced just by taking a screw out and it comes out without problem and just replace them .
6600 is a good card for the entry level these days and give the GOAT 1080ti a run for its money

might as well get 6600xt
radeon 6650 xt out performs 1080 ti.
I oticed the fans on 6600 not as simple as they look on other models where the screw is just took out and you pop them out.
I also noticed depending on the manufacturer of the gpus that other company's (like they do) make the same models but differently ,Some are worse thatn other models .
Now amd qvl should be updated due to you can use other ram depending on each m/board you use , I been doing tests recently and got many ram thta work without any due problems and many out perform ddr5.
