    That is a nice control panel. Cheers

    Looking to do something like this for a 2bbl start up brewery. Does he do a kit for 100a systems (back to back batches) or is it more custom for the larger panels?

      I'm not sure if he has a kit for panels that large or not. Shoot him an email or a message on Facebook, he's really responsive, if it's a business day he always got back same day.
      My panel is 100 amp with dual 50 amp feeds in. I believe one of my buddies bought a 100 amp kit from him but I am not 100%.

      Thanks man! Hopefully get it hung up this week and do some more playing around with it.

    Can you share information on how you mounted the panel?

      I just used a TV screen mount for it. Anchored it in the studs and drilled holes in the back of the panel that line up with the TV bracket holes.

      Reaction Brewing and you didn’t have any issue with just the screws being enough to support it? I’m thinking stainless self tapping screws, but I’m so afraid they’ll let go. Nothing to worry about?

      @@trevorthomas678 I ran 8 half inch bolts into the panel with large washers on both sides and 3.5" lag screws into the studs. I think the wall will fall down before the panel does.

      Reaction Brewing did you take the inner panel off inside the box to secure the bolts? That’s my issue, the panel is built already, and I’m not certain I should remove the inside to bolt the box...

      @@trevorthomas678 I did, I took it apart so I could run bolts into it. Wasn't that bad, if you're not comfortable with it though that's understandable, maybe take it to an electrical shop and have them to it?
      I definitely wouldn't trust self tappers either.

    I've got 22k in elements as well. However, I only run 11k at a time (hlt then boil) using 50A. How are you using 100A?

    • @ReactionBrewingCompany
      @ReactionBrewingCompany  Před 4 lety

      If I want to do back to back batches I can run the BK and HLT at the same time.

      @@ReactionBrewingCompany I never thought of running back to back with a single mash tun/hlt. I'd think by the time you clean up and reset the mash the boil would be over. 2 mash tuns maybe, especially if you use a herm coil for the HLT. Just remove one then drop the other in place.

    100 amps? Do you have a nuclear reactor in your backyard? I have 40 amps for my whole house

    • @ReactionBrewingCompany
      @ReactionBrewingCompany  Před 5 lety

      Wow! We have 200 coming in here, 50 amps for the kettle, 50 for the HLT. 22,000 watts in elements.
