      Thanks for watching! There’s times a gravel bike is better as it would be lighter to push and times where you’d be happy with the suspension on a MTB.

    • @AllenBoardman
      @AllenBoardman  Před 3 lety

      Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to mention the music. I was oblivious to what the music actually does to a video until someone mentioned it. The more I thought about it, the more I think I need to concentrate on the music being in the background. Thanks so much for commenting and letting me know how an unbiased person sees it. I really appreciate it. Next movie is edited, but I've been choosing the music for a week now, and still not settled on a soundtrack.
      I'm sure you'll get up this year for sure, things are looking better these days. Let me know how you get on and have a fantastic trip! Hope there is no nudes when you go!

    Great video! Out of curiosity, when did you reach Corrour? It looks like we did the ride almost together as I was turned away by these people too, and the weather is looking very familiar to me. However, the lady who own this place was nice enough to offer me some water and place in her backyard to put my tent, also there was another bike stranger who slept in the garage that night -) But it was before these people arrived. The biggest difference is that I was running not the time but morale and food, so I took a train straight to Glasgow. Probably, the train to Callander to avoid this silly weather was a better idea! -| Anyways, I'm keen on doing it again when COVID is over -)

      We got there on the 6th September buddy, but it was a long day. We rocked up around 11.30pm when everyone was already there.
      We carried all the food we needed and a little more. Moral was good on our side.
      Would love to go back at some point and ride the bit we missed!

    Nice video. Isn’t this a shortened version of the route though? Most people i spoke to cycle/walk from Corour to the loch Rannoch road then come over the hill to Glen Lyon, then Loch Tay and then the cycle path to Callendar, so really a big part of the route has been missed out!

      Yeah, we were running out of time and thought it would be a good idea to jump the train. The lads were faster than me, so I cut them loose. Hey! Ah, thank you! What a nice comment 🤘
      The Brother was equipped with 38mm tyres in this film and I had 2.4 Ardents. Both worked well. The 2.4s were great down Corrieyairack Pass, much faster than 38s. The 38s were quicker to get to Callander. If that's what you have, then go for it!
