You might want to unscrew your tank so you can see the inside mechanism but i reccomend you ask hobby town online support sorry i couldent help

I purchased it from motion rc and so far I’ve used it Maybe 10 times and since its not very fast the tracks should last you a long time i would definitely buy the one with metal gear box
