Thank you for this video. Can you tell me, please, if you transitioned the Calatheas using the long method, or if you put directly into LECA. Thank you, Nora, and congratulations on 8K subscribers! You deserve that and SO MANY more!

Thank you so much! I am pretty excited and humbled by 8K. I did not use the long method, I put them straight into leca.

@@priyankachandna2311 2 of the 3 are doing well. The other died, but it really wasn't doing well before I transfered either. The other two are growing. They are nowhere near as big and beautiful as Nora's, but they are healthy.

I am new to LECA & I learn something each time I watch your presentations. Can you please provide a list for beginners for plants that are easy to start up in LECA? Or if i missed it, do you already have something in your playlist? I so enjoy you!!!

I know this is old this is an old video but I just came across it on my feed and this just so happens to be my most favorite plant in my collection right now. I’ve killed two which saddens me. I literally cry about it every day but I am going to try again after seeing your gorgeous, gorgeous Orbifolia , this gives me courage to think I can grow one again so I’m gonna try I’m gonna do everything you said cross my fingers and say a little prayer

I just put my philodendron apple into Leca. I brought it when it was growing in water. Left it as is for about two months. I added superthrive when I changed the water. The roots really began to thrive lol. It’s now in Leca and I’ve followed your instructions for the most part. I’ve just continued to us superthrive. So far so good😊

Thank you. I do love that Orbifolia!!! The transfer would not necessarily cause the new leaves to die off, but there is no guarantee. Maybe wait until you are comfortable moving it.

Thank you for all your video. I will transfer my calathea orbifoglia from soil to leca. I will not use a long method sane as you did. I would like to ask you...whene finally roots get use to water with nutrient, can i completely soak them or still they have to stay on the surface of it? Don't know if my question is clear...

    • @TheLecaQueen

No daily watering, the water and nutrients are drawn up to the plant. So just keep nutrients in the reservoir.
