@@yellowwasnottaken3603 🇺🇸I drove it to school when I was in school and then pulled old semi trailers, mobile homes and even had a mechanical 5th wheel wrecker boom that we installed to pull buses and other semis. So I used it for a variety of things. I think I took it on only 1 date. Hehehe🤩 It was a very functional truck. I never was a Ford guy, but this was the BEST Ford truck around for me. I washed it and went over the truck front to back every week? That truck gave me more of a mechanic education...we rebuilt the motor in 1 weekend, spent a couple of weeks trying to resolve an intermittent electrical problem, fixing spring issues, body repairs, etc. I tried to keep that truck in top notch condition. I really spent a lot of time in that ol truck. 🤩 If I would’ve known better I would’ve bought it off my dad and kept it for myself. It was junked after my dad died. That truck was ready to roll anytime it was needed. How does that answer your question?😎
I drove one years ago after 10 hrs you knew you drove a classic they are a ruff ride but I would love to put a camper on one and pull a small car behind and exprince America .
I purchased a used 1968 for $1700. In 1979 to move to camp Pendleton in California from Virginia. I made the move than sold it for $2200. In calif. It never gave me one minute of trouble
I miss the sound of the gas powered medium or heavy duty trucks Ford,GMC,Chevy,IHC,Dodge it doesn't matter, each one had their own sound thier feel thier good and bad,I miss those old trucks.
Yes sir they my dad had it a 10 speed 5 hi 2 low This ol truck bring back memories when I was a kid watching him shift the gears ⚙️ Now to this day I know to drive Manuel transmission thank dad rip 🙏
Gotta correct you. That would be a 330 FT not FE, while they used the same internals, the heads and block on the FT engines were much heavier for longer life/multiple rebuilds in commercial use trucks.
Man I remember seeing these old fords on the road when I was little. I was born in 78 . They were a common sight
I love when these things are original.
Nice truck. They had a simple interior, but roomy. I drove a 65 C800 with a 390 gas engine. Nice old trucks. Good memories of it.🥰
you drove it as a daily driver?

I see alot of those for sale as retired fire trucks for a low price
I saw one with an in line six cylinder engine 300
Allison did not make rear axels. Your truck has an Eaton 2 sp.

How many miles between rebuilds with good care?
I saw a FE engine block probably a 390
It looks like an old Wilson Trucking truck.
330 small block 190hp is what mine has
It will run smoother when you fix the electrical issue causing the arcing to the frame seen at czcams.com/video/njJZCD8_Few/video.html
Omg, is that a Cherry Bomb muffler?
Give ya $990.00
