Visual approach and landing on a nice morning on runway 10 at Lamezia Terme international airport, SUF / LICA. Cockpit view. Airbus A320. With ATC (air traffic control) audio. Filmed in 4k.

Lamezia Terme airport has no ATIS (automatic terminal information service) radio broadcast. So the tower controller gave us the complete weather information via radio during our approach. Wind was variable with only a few knots. It was up to us to choose the runway. We opted for runway 10 because this was the shortest possible approach. Originally we arrived from the north, but due to departing traffic, ATC vectored us to the south and cleared us then for a visual approach.
Due to closed taxiways. ATC asked us to vacate the runway early to avoid a 180 degree turn at the runway end and backtracking to the exit. For this reason, we used autobrake "medium" for our brake setting. Originally we planned to use most of the runway with only a little braking to safe brake-wear.
The runway length is with over 3000 meters (9900 feet) more than long enough for all modern transport airplanes. Most of the traffic at Lamezia airport is seasonal.
