My Pipe Bending Attachment

- My Pipe Bender is nothing more than an attachment I built for my Hydraulic press. I found at a flee market the main frame plates and the two pivots, then I found a cylinder and whittled out the set of push dies for it, from solid aluminum 6061. I put the package together I’m sharing in this video.

Sold a LOT of Enerpack (sp) gear back in the '80s. We had T/K also (Templeton-Kinley) which were less expensive. And incidentally ALL the parts (seals, connectors, etc.) were interchangeable. Mostly "porta-power" stuff. Nobody bought the T/K which IMO were just as good...

This Video got the same kind of comments on LOCALS and RUMBLE, the angle and background sucked up the lighting was my best guess.
Could be camera settings. Wrong F setting, wrong ISO. ~

Thanks for the vid Keith. I just built a smaller press using a tow truck stabilizer cylinder. I have a Dayton 3 phase pump set up. Still working on a stalling issue. I think the pump is too big as in cc per revolution. I am going to try a smaller gear pump. I am using it in current state. Broaching is so much fun. I have a prince log splitter valve where I can also go slow and get the feel

Rule of thump subtract the out side pipe diameter and half the Nominal bore . NB Pipe only not tubing example bend 90 length 300mm bend point, 32nb pipe medium 3.2mm wall thickness out side diameter 42.4 so 42.4 plus 18=60.4 now 300 - 60.4 = 239.6 centre of the die if the die is standard bend radius.....

It is awkward and hard to get people to change formats or websites, they just click on the next interesting thing; so I have no honest solution for you on how to gain a larger audience there from the people here.
