This string-heavy 1960 hit by Brooks Benton is given a rootsy update by the Paladins. This kicks the stuffing out of the original version. From their 2004 "Powershake-- Live In Holland" video (also available on CD and download). They also included this song on their 3rd studio LP called "Let's Buzz!" as well as on their first live album called "Million Mile Club".
Mr Gonzalez, You owe it to your fans to put on a one time special Paladins reunion show ! I think Southern California would be the right place for it too ! Please, we need a fix !

Too many white blues bands lack groove and sound stale and dull, but this band is a delightful exception. Esp. Dave Gonzales' guitar play is so groovy. Definitely one of the best blues bands around, black or otherwise.
