eclipse is easily my favorite LOONA dance cover of all time. it’s just so… FULL. and it’s a gorgeous song. it really showcases the drama and elegance that the group is capable of conveying through choreo.
Full is such a great way to describe their cover of Eclipse. It just does something to you when they all come on stage towards the end. It's hard to describe the magnitude of that moment.
7:11 yes! (Her name is Heejin) She's actually considered as the main dancer along with yves (her name is pronounced as Eve) who was the center in the beginning of Cherry bomb (you can also see her here 7:51) even though loona actually doesn't have official positions except leader, center and face of the group. Heejin is the center of the group which is why you will probably often see her in the center slaying most of the time. Heejin, Yves and a few other members (Jinsoul, Olivia Hye and Kim Lip) are known as the F boy line because they pull off boy group dances the best and they also like dancing to boy group's choreos a lot!

eclipse definitely feels different, i love it so much its probably my favorite cover out of the three. im so glad you liked it too (i mean its loona cmon). your commentary on choreo is always so detailed and critical, love it. you're my favorite person to watch dance reactions from cause you have actual things to say and arent just like "wow i liked that, thanks for watching". loona always amazes you but you still have functioning braincells left working enough to give input. thanks for your videos
oh and btw on sbs kpop's channel loona did the cover dance idol challenge(?) with eclipse. it feels a lil different given that the camera work's a bit better lol but yeah its a good watch

Whenever people mention other group as queens of synchronization, I will say "Hey, are u sure? Watch LOONA first then tell me who's the queens of synchronization." Anyway love ur reaction and i would suggest LOONA Hula Hoop MV/Dance Practice. The song is addicting that i is my promise.

Chronologically FIRE was filmed and released first (followed by Cherry Bomb and then Eclipse)! I personally think they improved as dancers with each subsequent release, and it makes me really proud 🥺💚

I didn't even look into chronological order before deciding which videos to watch! That would have been cool to try and see the progression you mentioned! I love the reaction thank you so much! I totally agree with you when you said that when it comes to LOONA’s dance practices you can really tell they work together as a group to be cohesive and for the moves to be clean and sharp and synchronized. They move as if they’re one when dancing together to their own music but when it comes to covers they sort of express their individuality and their attitude. I can’t wait for more LOONA videos I love when reactors have actual constructive things to say about the groups they react to 😁 also loved your makeup and hair for today you looked so pretty!
I'm glad you see their individuality in covers too, and that it's not just me! The covers definitely allowed them a little more freedom to be and express their own style, but I do love how impressive their own choreography is because of how 'one' they become. I think what really stands out for me regarding Loona and their choreography is how EVERY MEMBER, ALWAYS hits the 'beat'. Gotta watch Loona's dance practice for "Hula Hoop" (Japanese debut release) - No surprise! They killed it! The choreo was so well created for a fun/happy song and still showcasing that Loona dance signature!

Loona doesnt have a dance line positions but usually the center of their dance covers/performances are Yves, Choerry, Olivia Hye, Heejin and KimLip. :) also they are the girls who did the floor work in butterfly and did a cover of Sunmi’s Fullmoon
I’ve always loved that they started the eclipse choreo with Kim lip center bc ….,, Eclipse :) (it’s also the name of her solo song idk if u knew!) I just think that got7 should’ve done a cover of her choreo back but men will never be Kim lip so I guess it’s best for them that they didn’t…….

Came here for Loona, but now I'm looking at your bookshelf 🙈 So many good picks! When will I make myself read "One Last Stop" ?? Omg The Disasters is back there too... OKAY OKAY back to Loona. I have such a special place for their Eclipse performance. It's so underrated, but I think the ending is SO sharp and evokes the most emotion from me? It tugs at my heart to watch them perform it.

Oh, one more little fun fact about Eclipse. They girls mentioned that they got help from the original choreographer of the song, so that's why out of all their covers I feel like it's probably their best and most sharp.

The Eclipse is my favorite LOONA dance cover because it shows power and also elegance (GOT7's choreo is just insane), but LOONA really pull it off.

Eclipse is one of my favorite for Loona's covers.. They did well in this cover and gave the Loona vibe.. For the next video maybe you can react to their new release of Japanese debut, Hula Hoop mv and their dance practice.. Also there was a dance practice for their b-sides, color and satellite if you want to see more of their style of music.. For the dance cover, they did the bts-not today in kcon LA, sunmi-full moon, Super Junior-sorry sorry, and their cover stage of Hong Jin Young-Love battery in immortal song.. Maybe you can consider to see one of this suggestions to see their versatile talent to cover different genres.. Thank you for your reaction.. I always love your analysis to the dance practices and waiting for your new video reaction of Loona..😊

Really like your Loona videos and your perception and analysis of the choreography. Is there a chance you'll check out an amazing group called Pixy someday? Because their choreo is pretty unconventional and it would be very interesting to hear your opinion.

I think with fire it's actually the choreo itself that makes it more chill at times. It gets really intense at certain moments in the song but is more laid back in between. And personally I'm not the biggest fan of the editing with the flashing lights and shaky camera during those intenser moments because we're not able to really see them dance or see their facial expressions there. I also like the Eclipse cover the most, but that's both because of the song and the dance.
You mentioned some really great points! I typically don't enjoy flashy editing or camera movement during a dance practice either, for the reasons you listed, but I did enjoy just a quick little moment in that video. I think the general consensus is that we all love Eclipse haha I'm glad I'm not the odd man out!
When the cherry bomb cover has higher views than the original. But Eclipse is still the best out of the 3👏👏👏
