Voting about minimum wage to be increase to like...7.75 an hour .....them bastards voted No for that;!!!!, but the very next thing they voted on was an a $11,000.00 dollar a year increase in their salary.....and they unanimously voted yes for that....I sat there shocked, I couldn't believe they had the balls to do that right on live TV....without no shame! In fact, the GOP led senate will likely shoot down Pelosi's house bill that passed yesterday that included a $2,000 stimulus payment per person. And the pork in the bill including the foreign aid was proposed by Mnuchin and Trump administration officials. I don't fault them in a way - they combined the yearly budget bill with the covid stimulus bill. Every yearly budget since WW2 has foreign aid for various strategic reasons.

The only thing real effect these 'stimulus' bills I have had for me is to decrease my spending power by 30%. The same expenses last year are now 30% more, so I have 30% less to save and invest. $2,000 isn't going to cover that, and printing 900 billion more will just make the inflation worse.
And the spending frenzy next year will be worse.

Having been laid off due to Covid I am here to say our family needs the $2,000 and not the $600. If the Senate does not approve this desperately need money our family will not vote for any current sitting Senator. I will share this with as many people as possible.

Taxpayers money would eventually be returned through taxes! The larger problem is that this country is not circulating properly, money needs to be circulating to create jobs and income. What happens when the money is not circulating the country becomes constipated. Who is brave enough to give it a laxative or a enema? LOL. The poor people have to suffer the most and those that have lost their income and their business. Then you have the homeless. It's sad when you have a government that has to be the guard dogs of the world. This government is into everybody's business and give them money even if they are our enemy! I have a bar that I regularly get take out from. I am in PA so no eating in, just take out. Last week I picked up some wings and tipped Joe the bartender $50. Ended up going back a few days later (my son and nephew like wings too) and tipped the other bartender $50. I am fortunate enough to not have been effective job-wise and make decent buck. My $2000 will go to those who can use it. Please do something similar if you can.
