- We bought the MSCHF Gobstomper Shoes and we decided to skate them! The crazy thing about these shoes is that they're multiple layers of suede that are designed to be worn away! In all our years of skateboarding and making CZcams Videos we've never seen shoes that are intentionally meant to be destroyed!

I usually prefer slimmer skate shoes, but I’m super into these. The concept and execution is awesome!! Love the colors. They seem like they’d last a long time as well! Probably gonna cop

once you learn board control learning tricks is way easier. Don't worry about it focus on having fun and practicing!!!
Riding is most important! Most people that learn to kickflip fast can’t really ride that well.
You should be comfortable cruising around at speed and navigating obstacles before attempting tricks anyway so no rush.

They should've been made with probably a top layer of cotton fabric, some mid layers of canvas, and a bottom layer of suede to give it plenty of time wear away naturally from skating. Also some softer eraser-like rubber on the outside with denser rubber layers inside.
P.S. That sole needs better grip too
I'm working on a big project to pitch to Braille in a couple weeks!!! (Can't let the cat out of the bag yet, I'm just SUPER excited!!!!!!) Can't wait to show you guys what I've been cooking up! :)

i own a pair of the gobstompers, and after wearing them for about 6 months you really cannot see any color (without skating). They are pretty thick but they are made with alot of quality

These might be the first thing reviewed I think I might need these shoes. For day to day they are durable and you'll know when you need new shoes lol.

Honestly i wouldnt mind the great durability. If ur already fully grown, you wouldnt have to pair a new pair of skate shoes because you would have that pair that lasts awhile and as time goes by you eventually see a change. I think its really smart

Also to the entire Braille team, Iove you guys so much ♥ Been following you since I was a teen back in 2015 but stopped watching until now because notifications never showed up. Thank you for keeping the skate community alive. I'm saving up for a Kerb "penny board" now (it would take too long for me to save up for a full and legit skateboard) so I can finally get over my fear of skating with my lack of balance and bust some classic underground 3 tricks, thank you for the motivation!
Are they heavy cuz all the layers? My wife wamts to getthem for me since im skating again after all these years but I've lost all my ankle muscle amd so it hurts to do flip tricks. Ive still got muscle memory for fakie bigflips but if I DO the big flip it HUURRTS dawg so heavy shoes will just make it 10x harder for me lol
you probably should have tried some coarse griptape, the stuff that downhill longboarders use, that should wear them down quicker

These are the shoes i need for sure, in 5 sesh I wrecked any kind of pro vans.. the amount of money that I need to spend on shoes is insane.. maybe with these ones i could be fine at least for a few months
fallen made shoes like this in like 2010 maybe??? I remember seeing them at zumiez. they were black suede and when they got scuffed they wore down to other bright colors. ABD!!!!!!!!!!
Ik it wasn't as intense as these, but I'm pretty sure Chris Haslam had a pair of shoes that changed colors when you used them
This product was MADE for the “Braille Test” (Give it to Aaron and watch him destroy it) and it had been amazing to watch!

They are still shoes so they should last someone awhile and not get too messed up from one normal vid.
