      You might like to recreate REAL events from WW2.
      Read "Fly for your Life", the biography of the Spitfire ace, Bob Stanford Tuck. He was alone over the North Sea and attacked by some 109s. He shot down three or four (I can't remember) but his Spitfire was damaged and he baled out. The combat was seen by a British trawler, which rescued him.

      @@TJ3 IDEA FOR A FUTURE VIDEO: Read "The Big Show", the autobiography of the French Spitfire ace, Pierre Clostermann, He was flying a specialised high altitude Spitfire, to intercept photo-reconnaissance 109s. There was a chase. The 109 put his nose down They dived faster and faster. the 109 tried to pull out and his wings came off, a commonplace event with 109s in high-speed high-G turns.

As a fighter pilot I would never fight the other pilots fight unless I had such a sweet shot that I thought I could end it quickly, but if I missed then I would immediately try turning it into my fight.

    The thing that gets me in these game videos is like when the spit is in a steep bank, the ailerons are deflecting opposite of the way they should be. A litter later the 109's control is right then it's wrong, all in the same scene from one movement to the next.

    • @JohnDoe-mh7br
      @JohnDoe-mh7br Před 2 lety

      Why would you think they are deflected in the wrong direction ? Once the bank is established, the up wing is faster than the down wing, so it produces a little more lift you have to counteract this tendency by banking slightly opposite of the turn, if you don't your plane keeps rolling.

      @@mugsnvicki I don't think I've seen that episode (maybe I have??) so I don't know what he says but I'm going to speculate and say he thinks it's acceptable to use one or the other. Certainly, in the German records both prefixes are sometimes used for the 109. However, the fact remains that the Bf 109 was the product of another company that was eventually acquired by Messerschmitt, at the direction of the National Socialist state. The accepted convention in such circumstances is that the original designation, in this case Bf 109 remains in force. So, the 109 remains a Bf while the 410, for example, is rightly prefaced by Me. Just because a bunch of sloppy officials fail to adhere to the correct convention doesn't change what is, or is not, 'correct'.

      Soon after the invasion the Allies faced the problem of camouflaging their aircraft when they're situated at local airfields in France.
      To get rid of this, they decided to leave the stripes as they were beneath, so it was still possible to quickly identify Allied aircraft in the air (quite similar to the germans painting their noses yellow underneath). But to retain the ease of camouflaging planes the stripes were got rid of everywhere else.

I do wonder though, what is the point of guys only in fighter aircraft shooting each other out of the sky? After the war was over they told the Pols well were done with you pretty much GTFO and go back to Poland . Poland was torn to pieces there was not much left to go back to. Also after the war they had a Victory Parade and the Pols where not invited because Churchill did not want to offend the Russians . One woman that was the daughter of one of the pilots from the 303 said it broke her dads heart . In these fantasy flight sims, the human player scores a hit kill with every attack while the AI flies around randomly for target practice. Why are these bf-109s not getting on the Spit's tail? Why are they flying around in no discernible formation? I mean, at 8:33 the bf-109 that was momentarily on the Spit's tail just dives into the sea for no good reason. It's good clean fantasy fun, but let's not pretend that it's anything like real battle simulation.

    If it is based on real facts...polish pilot of 303 Division shot 4 Bf109 (the tails were without girders?) than it is fine. Polish pilots were the most experienced in the world during this time..had to struggle with Germans in Poland, then France, now UK...German fiigters could be good...had always better machines...now the Polish pilot got even better plane...so the results could be like this. The 303 Squadron used first the Hurricanes..but there were many other Polish Squadrons..in general 12 000 polish airmen (with all auxiliary service) were engaged in the UK. Polish Govenrment had to pay it with gold...as British said "this was your business, you were fighting against Germans for your country". So Churchill send an invoice for every bullet shot by e.g. this Spitfire.

    This is post June 6th marking on the spitfire. 4 germans against 1 allied over the channel. Do you realize how remotely unlikely that is.

    I suggest you make the Spitfire more graphically correct. There is only a single air scoop located under the starboard wing. Not 2 as in the first part of the cgi and not 1 midship as shown later.

    Against BOS AI is is hardly difficult to get 4 kills

      So, what's your point? Couldn't you just enjoy a well made, entertaining video which takes a great deal of effort on the part of TJ3 Gaming to produce and no effort on your part to make a snarky remark? Why not, instead, just say, "Thank you."?
      Let me show you how it's done.
      Thank you TJ3 Gaming for the nicely done video.

    take your "level of experience" off "easy" or "don't hurt me" and see how you would do. Your tactics are suicidal down low. No way a spit can win against 4 109's. Other than that, love your channel.

      Yeah, the fact that he was flying straight and level while these 109s fired their cannons wildly past him really shows what skill level the ai were. Try this against humans and you'd be dead in 2 seconds.

    Excellent reproduction, but both the scenario (lone Spitfire on patrol) and outcome (4:0 kill ratio against Me 109's) are highly unrealistic!

    • @barrierodliffe4155
      @barrierodliffe4155 Před 3 lety

      Not so unrealistic, one lone Spitfire pilot shot down 4 and damaged a 5th Fw 190, then shot down another and damaged another Luftwaffe aircraft in a short time.
