We have an incredible guest-- Emerson Nowotny, lead pastor at Mosaic in Mexico City. Emerson has one of the most incredible testimonies and stories we've ever heard. A redemption story. A true example of our God being a God of 2nd chances & restoration.
Emerson has us in tears multiple times while he tells us his story from having an encounter with Jesus and becoming a devout Christian at 17 years old, to losing a loved one resulting in him losing his faith, to then getting involved with drugs, women, and the cartel. He covers how he ended up in federal prison and how he kept his hope and joy through his relationship with Jesus. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰
YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark when aiming to solve a problem then creating another resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive justification by grace even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent"… (John 6:29 KJV). YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour" ...(Luke 1:46-47 KJV). Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰
They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌

Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... Angels and god is real. When I was little I had a high fever for days and the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with me and it just got higher and one night I stayed with my grandma and she was always in faith and I remember seeing 2 angels in her kitchen talking and they were tall and bright light around them and big wings hard to explain but after that I got better and it was like a miracle

🔥 What an anointed blessing this is to me. Yesterday was my 42nd birthday, and I've been running for The Lord Jesus Christ 26 years now and I'm not tired yet! 😁 I can relate so much to this. I was born and raised in Southeast San Diego during the early 80's and 90's. A gangland full of drugs and sin. My parents did NOT believe in God. My grandmother did however. It was my grandmother who told me when I was about 5 years old that God was going to burn the whole earth in the future. Inside I was scared, but I said to myself "if God says so then ok, because I love God no matter what." Now I'm older and I know the Truth WAY better , but when I turned 15 years old, it was that same grandmother who pulled me literally from a San Diego gang park into a church house before I joined the military. I still praise the Lord God Jesus Christ forever and ever amen🕯️

She's in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ now, awaiting, along with my beautiful wife; Both of whom I look so forward to being reunited with in Heaven ❤

What a wonderful testimony! I can relate to some of it. My husband was in the Federal Supermax for 17 years...I was his in vestigator... he brought me to Christ..born again! It's usually the public going into the prisons to help the prisoners find God..but in this case it was a prisoner serving two life sentences that brought an outsider to Christ. Praise God! Married for nine years next week!😊
Obviously God his son Jesus Christ and his strong enduring faith 🙏🙌❤got him out
@@derekkase7884 My husband is not out of prison. He is serving two life sentences with no parole. He was facing two death penalty cases but received life sentences. Meanwhile he is serving God in prison. He is preaching to the lost souls inside. He is fulfilling God's purpose in his life.😊👍

I left my lucrative career to follow Jesus after meeting my husband and becoming a Born Again Christian. I couldnt serve two masters...so I let go of my career and stepped out of the boat to follow Jesus!

So relatable with losing someone and thinking "God wouldn't let this happen." Truth growth is when we go back to God and realize he never left.
This was an amazing video that makes me want a male mentor in my life because I wanna be a man of God more in my own life
First off, I don't even know you but I am so proud of you for wanting to be a God-fearing man who wants to seek Godly mentorship because the thing is, the devil is seeking anyone he can find, Scripture says "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour" 1 Peter 5:8 ESV. BUT, the fear of God will keep you! Don't underestimate the power of prayer- BE PERSISTENT- Jesus KNOWS the desires of your heart, Scripture says "Ask, and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened" Matthew 7:7 ESV. I pray that you find Godly community- I always recommend joining a small group at a Bible based church (I attend a denominational church) but always search for a church that correlates with your values, you need TRUTH and Jesus is the TRUTH that will set you free, join a small group that meets your age, it's so crucial to have community and fellowship to help you within your walk of faith. Before you wake up in the morning and scroll through your phone, set time FIRST and FOREMOST to read the Bible and do your daily devotional (I have a physical copy of the Bible-I personally read the ESV translation) and I'm currently reading through The Book of Proverbs for November and the Book of Psalms as well as my daily God Calling devotional and I do a devotional plan on the YouVersion Bible app (free to download on the App Store or Google Play Store) that has devotional plans and a digital Bible and daily verses each day (my current devotional plan on the Bible app is 21 Days to Confidence by Dayspring). Develop a heart posture for Worship- seek time to dwell in the Lord's presence, don't just Worship on Sundays- make it a part of your everyday life and Worship THROUGH the warfare!
I want to offer a prayer for you:
Lord Jesus, come into this man's heart and know his desire to seek Your presence continually, hear the cries of his heart, his pleas, his urgency, never hinder the answers of his prayer, GUARD HIS HEART and his ways of life to seek and walk in the path of righteousness, Lord Jesus, BE THE AUTHOR OF HIS LIFE and rebuke all evil and set him with ears, heart, and a mind that is so deeply enriched in the love and understanding of WHO YOU SAY HE IS JESUS! Lord Jesus, I pray that you create in this God-fearing man and the mentors that surround him in accordance to Your will, CLEAN HEARTS to be patient, to be kind, to not be self-seeking, to be slow to anger, to not envy, to not boast, to not rejoice in wrongdoing, to not rejoice in evil, but to rejoice in truth because love never fails, love always perseveres, always hopes, always trusts, always protects, it never ends as said in 1st Corinthians 13:4-8. Lord Jesus, ignite a FRESH FIRE within his heart to turn to you. SHACKLE all chains of fear, anxiety, worry, and replace it with a spirit of courage, of hope, of restoration, of renewal. I can relate in so many ways with brother Emerson. Almost similar testimonies. Which is why I been feeling a very strong and powerful feeling of sharing my testimony to all who allow me to share. It just seems no one ever has time or prefer to listen to routine talks. This podcast was the one I connected to the most. I need prayers for my plans of helping other men that will become a gathering, mentor, and fellowship of men like no other. I know that God has placed all this in me for a reason. I just need the power of prayer and trust God will provide everything I need to push forward. Please share my comment and so that it receives prayers. I only want the prayers. At the 30 min mark the same thing happen to me in august. 😊i allowed god to flow through me. I was so! Lost, no faith. Im so happy for the person i have become. Hes right , i had that supernatural moment in 2 dreams. Just writing this brings me to tears. My grandmother who died 13 yrs ago appeared in my dream. She hugged me, it felt so real that incould smell her and feel the fabric of her clothes. She told me in the dream , " ay mijo que tanto te extane. Bienbenido" .
In english, " oh my son how much i have missed you! Welcome back"

my parents were both in prison my mom for 8 years and my dad is sentenced for 24 years since 2013. They both were heavily immersed in faith, they made it through with God alone, it’s a miracle my father is alive right now, he prays everyday and he’s completely reborn. They were both dealers and users and my dad had multiple addictions he’s been delivered from. now he refuses everything. God saved my parents with prison.
my dad used to avoid my family’s church because every time he entered he cried the whole service.

I want to meet you girls one day. I watch every episode. I feel like I want to believe but the spiritual warfare is real. Last night I was in bed trying to sleep, and I heard a demonic voice tell me : " you can be with the lord in your imagination". It was terrifying. I tried screaming Jesus in my head because I couldn't speak. I think this is an affliction and I just want it to stop. I want to be with God. I have so much anxiety and issues with an ex boyfriend who I can't let go of.
It will take time, if you haven't already or even if you have; pray because prayer is your weapon for everything. I struggle with prayer as I'm sure thousands of other believers do but God will give you the peace and love you are seeking. Read the book of John; one chapter a day.
@@faithwithsheldon I pray multiple times a day and every day, except this last week my depression was so bad I wasn't able to open my mouth to pray for 4 days but eventually I did. But yes, I'll keep praying as long as I am able to do as much. :( I just envy people who have felt Jesus touch them and who are changed overnight. It's not that way for me.

I could never imagine a woman doing anything for me like what his wife has done for him-waiting for him all those years while he was in prison and visiting and spending time with his family all the time. Similar experiences - and just couldn't understand why God would lead me to a crash site. I slowly realized that God calls on us to ministry in all situations. "Why God are you doing this to me?" I asked many times, but realized that he led me to a situation that desperately needed ministry and that the experience would be used for His kingdom and to bless me in the future. It's tough in the waiting period where you hold on to your faith and keep moving forward. Instead of hearing "Your god is fake," I would hear "God doesn't love you" which we know the Bible disproves.
