Ko - soto - gake in different Situations

Ko soto gake, a judo technique classified under foot techniques
(ashi waza), is distinguished by its hooking action behind the opponent's
leg. This hooking motion, combined with a sweeping action, creates a
unique off-balance, facilitating effective throws and takedowns. Its
versatility and effectiveness make it a valuable technique in judo
competitions.
"Tokui waza" refers to a judoka's favorite or preferred
technique, often translated as "favorite technique" or "specialty
technique." It represents the technique or techniques that a judoka excels at and feels most confident in executing during competitions or
randori (sparring). Developing proficiency in one's tokui waza is
essential for success in judo.
