I bought PLTR because of the CEO's hair and it was only 9.68 a share, so the answer is obvious.
I feel that too, that hair is really attractive and looks awesome
I view the hair as a "sophisticated madman"
Hahaha 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me too crazy guy
You’re a bag holder..
I bought some PLTR after researching the company and watching some interviews of Thiel and Karp. One thing is abundantly clear. Peter Thiel is a genius savant when it comes to creating software companies that can find a niche. PLTR has already been proven in the most demanding and rigorous environments, the military. Word is they absolutely love the software. Karp didn't believe in having a sales department, but now that they are pivoting to the private sector, they created one about a year ago. This stock will be a mega cap in 5-7 years. They will redefine how businesses interact with their ERP software and databases.
PLTR IS LIKE BUYING VAN GOGH’S ART WHEN HE WAS ALIVE!
@@nicktruman7181 how do you disagree when you say you don't know what he means?!
He means that the famous painter van Gogh's paintings sold at unbelievable prices only years after his death. Meaning pltr, he feels is a huge growth stock.
Can't agree more
@@d.r.656 Define the moon for PLTR. I've heard that it MIGHT hit $40 by EOY 2021 :/
@@Mosestylez How is anyone supposed to know that? AI might be a multi multi trillion dollar market.. Who knows how much really or how much Palantir will contribute and benefit from that
when he was young
I don’t know why everyone is comparing Snowflake with PLTR. People: Snowflake is a cloud data management company. They build software that allows companies the ability to manage their cloud implementations better. Therefore, they compete against the big boys: AWS, Azure, Oracle, IBM, etc. PLTR is a BIG DATA ANALYTICS company. They have created a couple of platforms that allow their clients to make better sense of their data quickly and without too much CAPEX. PLTR sends in its engineers and analysts to see how they can help clients with specific problems they might have using big data on their software. PLTR has literally dozens of competitors. Two VERY different companies. In my view long term, snowflake is scalable, but, as I said competes with a few big boys. PLTR’s story is yet to be written. Remember, they are a 17 year old company. And still government accounts for over 60 percent of their revenue. I don’t think they can scale as much into non-government verticals.... because each vertical has its own specific big data issue.
Finally, you may want to repeat your analysis after excluding the “stock based compensation” numbers from PLTR’s numbers. That will give a clearer and more Apple to Apple comparison between Snowflake’s numbers and PLTR and will account for the “cliff” you observed in their last financials.
I agree. There are a few competitors but you said dozens. Don't mind naming them, public listed ones.
really appreciate this detailed response. I am not in tech but i hear the competitors are pretty weak atm. is that true ?
This guy fucks. THEY ARE NOT EVEN THE SAME THING.
@@jinny7303 question: where did you hear that from. Look at the link I posted below on the BDA supply chain. I would not call suppliers like Accenture or Delotte as weak. This is not to say that the stock won’t go up, it’s just that people are not looking at the downside, which they should as investors.
Basically SnowFlake is for the small fish. You want want the best AI technology, most intelligent AI software for the most intensive decision making you'll always pick Palantir over Snowbow. So Palantir is for the big boys, like the biggest enterprise company and governments.

PLTR > SNOW
eventually yes
Foolish monetary practices doesn't define Palantir, but their technical and professional expertise does....... the moment they get serious on giving attention to the business side of their work (that they have already started), PLTR is gonna destroy all rivals.
The level of palantirs tech is unmatched in their field
PLTR is my choice. Dont like the valuation. Besides I had been waiting for PLTR to go public years ago. I didn't even think of buying Snowflake when they Filed. My mind was set the day Peter Thiel announced he invested in Pltr and that was some years back.👍
Bought in on PLTR @ $10.36... been waiting in the dip to buy more.
Don’t wait, just keep buying but buy even more at the dip
I accumulated 10k shares at $25, 2 weeks ago and sold at $30.50 last Monday when the stock ran up due to FDA $44 million contract, for a $55k profit, as the stock pulled back I accumulated 12k shares again at a price around $27.50, will buy more if the stock keep pulling back.
PLTR price right now is like buying Amazon in 2001 for $14. This stock will do great things 10 years from now. They have nothing but geniuses working for them.
I agree that they have very smart people working in this company
Yes sir

I am not day trader and swing or short trader . I am long term investment. I just bought 60 k shares 3 days ago. I enter at 18.69 . I am holding at least 10 years. This company have a back up by government and you know what that mean . That mean that the government never let this company down trust me in that. I love this company at the same in Alex Karp I trust . He is like Elon musk very intelligent. You invest to this company that mean you store investing into our country America.
I have 450 shares at 15 . Do you think i should buy more ??

I got into pltr at 9.50 and have been adding... good videos, thanks!
Just found the channel; liked and subbed. On the editing side; absolute gold with the music and levels. Well done video.
i dont know much about snow but as far as PLTR its 17 years old so you know it'll take time for anyone to catch up with R&D, secondly Peter Thiel knows what he is doing, 3rd they don't need to hype themselves because they have a product that adds value, lastly they are recession proof, as the economic climate gets worse more businesses will be looking for an edge and that is what PLTR provides
Thanks for the vid, what is the plateform you used to compare the two companies data ?
Snowflake is just one piece of the big data puzzle. By itself it doesn’t offer the full solution- buy PLTR, buy CIIC, buy SBE, buy psth and buy bill Gates Longview spac , buy green power motors
What does GP and SBE have to do with big data
Great video once again!. What app is that comparison financial report? Thanks buddy
Great video and info !!! Thank you very much !! They have amazing technologies as Alex Karp said “Our software will be the most important software in the world” and I believe him. They need time to prove themselves in the commercial space which I think they will do extremely well. I foresee amazingly bright future for this company. I bought in just below $11 and holding for long term. Thanks again !!! Good luck everyone and stay safe !!!
PLTR > SNOW is like comparing a freshmen in college (SNOW) to the Distinguished Professor (PLTR). The intelligent level is not even a comparison. Anyone using PLTR software is automatically granted a PhD level of competence.
Hey, what software/website is he using by the end of the video to compare PLTR vs SNOW.
Software AI engineer recommended buy PLTR. It is the future APPLE.
Nice video! I know this might be too soon, but do you have any Price target with PLTR? I've already bought 350 shares, just want to know what you think :)
I've read and heard rumors from others that it MIGHT hit $40 by EOY 2021... Which isn't that much considering its almost $20 now :/
Yes on PLTR, your original Ark video caught my attention
What application you use to project snow and pltr revenue, operating expense data comparison? That's seems really cool.
what program is that you use when comparing revenue for pltr and snow
Hi Jackson, not sure if you can do some research about the speciality of the company platform. Software companies like Tableau, SAS or some old name SAP, SAS, Oracle have data analytics module. Why so unique on Palantir software?
I have both investments sitting at 30 shares of Snowflake and 52 shares of Palantir. I actually like Palantir better! Both are worth investments. Strategy wise Palantir!
Where do you get to get charts like that to compare? And where can you check what Ark is investing on next?
So assuming Palantir capitalizes on only 25% of their TAM, share price should at least be $600. Yup I'm in this for the long haul.
😂 Love the insight with that said I put my headphones in and I hear background music playing a piano 🎹! Your wise with that. The calming atmosphere 💯🎯
Palantir Q3 dip was because of ~800m of stock based compensation & IPO expenses, which they highlighted in their press release and on their FS. This is a one-off, and should be excluded from analysis; their normalized results were super impressive!
Yes invested in both, top 10 positions in my portfolio.
SNOW isn't similar to PLTR at all, their only similarities are data science sector and stock market listing time. SPLK is much better comparison point, as both companies started about the same time (2003 and 2004) and have similar market cap (30b). SPLK has almost 2x revenue and 3x assets of PLTR, if somewhat lower growth rate. As for direct competitors to PLTR, it's big guys like IBM, AMZN, GOOG, MSFT and ORCL. They have similar (if less specialized) tech and positioned to secure government and big biz contracts.
Has been keeping a close eye on ya, good content, keep it up!
You need to look into WHY PLTR's margins went down in Q3. Big R&D spend, some IPO costs, etc. Dig into the details!!!
Fred Sanford, I have similar concern about the sharp decline of Q3 margins. I will NOT buy more shares until I see positive Q4 report.
Good call, Fred - you just missed out on a 200% increase in the stock price. Is that one of the "details" you were talking about? I know you're trying to sound smart but you just confirmed that you don't have a clue.
@@jimliu1039 Those "concerns" just caused you to miss out on a 200% increase in the stock price. Great job, genius.
@@ronrolph You missed by point. I wasn't being negative. R&D spend is a good thing for example. And I got in at $10, so I am very happy :)
@@FredSanford2003 ahh - OK. Got it. Sorry - I misread your comment as denigrating the company because of Q3. The guy who made the first comment on your post took it that way as well so that threw me off further. Congrats on getting in at $10. My initial investment is now well into the 7 figures so I'm not complaining either.
Peter Theil says they have a Monopoly !
Very happy with palantir. Will watch this video end of 2021 and see palantir going to 100 by then.
unbelievable work! Thanks again for the most amazing overview.
PLTR takes existing static unformatted data and converts it into usable data where you can do interesting analytics on it. The way they do this is unique and is not being done by anyone else that I am aware of. One of the early common misconceptions of PLTR was that they do data mining to augment a company's existing data, but they simply dont do this. They create an Ontology of a company's data which allows analysists and business people to draw insights. Snowflake on the other hand from what I know is in the cloud business and they seek to produce analytics on data by adding some intellisense when people share data. PLTR also does this but Snowflake is trying to be more like B2B lets all share data, where as PLTR hasn't gone down this path because they have been focusing on conserving the authenticity and security of a company's data.
Very good content!! please keep up the great work
IGreat video! I'm looking to start a position before the end of 2020.Going to let the FOMO die down and jump in.
I owned both at one time but now palantir is my largest position and my highest conviction stock
Quality information, thankyou for this speculation. Keep it up!
I'm up 170% on palantir. So my choice is obvious. Snowflake IPO was a warning sign for me how much it was inflated.
Palantir has great government contracts from what I researched. I'd lean with them.
I think Palantir is more in solving niche solutions (as far as how the military used in Syria and Afghanistan and the car company applied Palantir software to cut down cost) while Snowflake is more of unify all the data on multiple cloud platform to one solution?
Parabolic moves coming for PLTR!
Stock based compensation expense is a worrying sign, especially having in mind there is another $1.2 bln unrealized stock based comp exps as at 9/30/2020. Thats why the profitability and margins dropped and thsi will further hurt the cash flows in future. Is it good for the minorities?

Keep it up buddy!!
Personally i believe SNOW is focusing on the data lakehouse business. Being a data cloud within the cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS). PLTR literally is a big data analytics as a service (BDAAS) where they provide the data integration and analytics. As they are not a data warehouse, I believe PLTR focus is bringing real value of the data - by providing their stellar service with software.
So its tough. From a maco perspective, SNOW is an data cloud ; a structure for all other players in the ecosystem to thrive. While PLTR really focus on analytics and providing real end value.
My thoughts. How about yours?
I bought 2500 at 9.70. Thought it wasnt enough so i average up at 14.5. I am at 3275. Still wondering why it isnt enough. I NEED MORE!!!!!. Give me that dip monday.
How much do you think it Will dip
That negative -50% dip since Monday.
If you need to store your data and have high speed fault tolerant access to that data then you use snowflake (data warehousing) however if you need to find hidden meanings in your data then you use Palantair (AI - Machine Learning). “Data is nothing without understanding “ it is like a pile giant of dirt only when your process that dirt you can find value in it, gold, silver, platinum etc etc
Love both these stocks!
Doubling down on both!! 🚀🚀🚀
Those dips at the end tho, omg
I've got pltr sadly at 29 but have faith in it. If I could I would buy more now in the dip but alas I spent all of it. Next time I would average down.
Both 🚀🚀🚀🚀
So AWS and 3M isn't commercial?
발행주식수는? let me be kind to you and translate...
outsanding shares?
Thanks for this video: Palantir looks like a better reward/risk potential. However, I must admit, I don't know the difference in their products? What is the difference in their product offerings? Thanks!
Palantir is more focused on helping users make sense of big data, with products like Foundry and Gotham. Snowflake is also in the "big data" business, but seems more focused on cloud computing, reducing the operational burden for companies. Both of these will be needed, and I can see a bright future for both companies. My money is in Palantir though. Sure, PLTR is expensive based off of multiples, but Snowflake's price/sales is insane.
I don’t have the balls to buy any individual stocks at this point, but PLTR is very tempting.
They're definitely Not competing... Snowflake is about aggregating and distributing data across networks, while Palantir actually does this, but provides decision making power via AI based on established business rules...
Thoughts on $APPF?
Pltr for long term application and for moral reasons as well, I like the stock
No surprise couple years later the share stock price 4 5 hundred and I heard someone just said: I wish I can go back couple years ago I am all in with palentir when stock around 19 bucks
Mua chưa Lý??
Both do different things right?
I brought PLTR ipo @ $11 and was death water for a while. At one time down to 8 bucks.
PLTR has been around for 18 years, where SNOW is was founded approx 9-10 years ago....hence, the revenue numbers are going to be larger for PLTR.
PLTR revenues are 40+% govt and 50+% commercial and they are trending towards the commercial side. The opportunities are endless on both fronts (domestic and international). There aren’t many competitors that can match PLTR’s software. I would HODL as they say in the crypto space!
The two companies are not comparable. Snowflake is like a data warehouse in the cloud. Nothing more. They have an abstraction layer over the existing cloud services, but still, users need to choose, for example, which kind of instance of a virtual machine they want to start (some kind of experienced cloud users targeted?). See their demo video - it's a fail, if you understand how it works. I think, only with much amount of marketing Snowflake will be able to win new customers. But one of the big cloud companies could easily create a little side project to allow users to do the same things Snowflake offers.
Palantir seams to offer more, but I have to see a demo first. The fact, that customers from the government use Palantir for about 15 years now shows, that their software is useful and they were able to stand against competitors.
Why doesn't Palantir use its tech to play the stock/ commodities market and make tons of money to reinvest in itself and expand their business operation... they seem like the type of company to outcompete and outperform the market in every way...
Top coin market cap in a year: Ethereum, VectraCoin, Bitcoin. Screen it out and don't thank
How’re you enjoying them crypto drops today? 👀
Thanks i knew about Michael Ross! He was my professor in Oxford and told us about Vectra!
PLTR all day - support your local nation lol
Operating expenses will rise for Palantir since now they started ramping up their marketing to reach other clients than the government. I do think Palantir seems like a better investment though. The CEO seems to be more of a visionary and the experience they carry..
How do you know it was Warren himself that bought SNOW? Both Ted and Todd deploy capital on behalf of Berkshire. And it’s been said by Warren many times that they operate autonomously, with little oversight,
In September Snowflake went live and was the highest valued IPO in history, being a Unicorn.
Nice video! What about VectraCoin algorithm review?
I'm missing the connection. Palantir in my mind is more about creating a digital twin of a business or environment and modeling an outcome based on the data inputs, including predictive data. Snowflake is more about throwing a bunch of existing data at it and trying to make better sense of it. Both involve data, but Palantir seems to have a more methodical approach to help business make decisions with known, modelled outcomes. Palantir will tell me the answers as the data inputs change. Snowflake an others will show me trends and information clarity on existing data. Both have a place in the world, but they're NOT the same.
PLTR at this point is not super charged by financial marketing
There is many good upside in long term oerspective for PLTR
Snow price should be 80-100$ now..it is extremely overvalued...PLTR undervalued
This video had 8 advertisements smh

Snowflake is limited to the cloud. Palantir integrates legacy software and hardware systems which is a pain point for legacy companies. Natural customer base differs, or Snowflake footprint is a subset of Palantir's

Big Picture prediction: with the rise of digital yuan and ant financials, pltr is positioned to help build fed coin infrastructure! This is the play. They sued US Army and won.
