- I can confirmation that ARK Invest just bought 20,000 shares in #PLTR and #Palantir stock (link below). Later in this video, I’m going to explain why ARK buying is a huge deal and what that means for the stock price in the future!
Starting from a somewhat modest $20 billion dollar market cap, quite simply the long-term opportunity here is huge if all goes right. In my opinion, this company’s story is Tesla-esque in so many ways. I’ll get to all of them.

I started buying at $9.30 and will continue to scale into a large position. The fact that ARK
Invest has also started a position validates my decision and has raised my expectations
even higher for Palantir. Big data and AI are the future and Palantir builds the state of the art of
software to capitalize on them.
I believe PLTR will drop to $6.00 before it rebounds gradually. The reason is that Biden will win the white house, and they will have less revenue coming from t he government. So far 50% of their revenue come from the government. In the commericial sector, there are many competitors for PLTR in this field, so they will grow, but will grow very slowly. Also the CEO Alex Karp is too idealistic, not your typical CEO who has an open mind and laser focused on the bottom line. They've been in business for 17 years, and they're still losing money. Back in 2016, they were valued at $20 bln, Four years later (today), it's valued a bit over $15 bln. Ark bought 20k shares means nothing, if Ark buys 2000k shares, then i am more interested.

Now, assuming biden manages to steal the election which he won't, government spending would explode on everything under the sun, including the establishment's insatiable lust for unending foreign wars. When it comes to special ops and regime changing wars, that's right up PLTR's alley.
Besides their government product, they are also expanding into industrial applications which will grow the pie even larger. PLTR isn't just another silicon valley body shop, it is the very best that there is in the entire industry and it's no secret. PLTR is the TSLA of enterprise software.
The fact Ark started a position this soon after the DL tells you everything you need to know. They know PLTR is likely to 10x over the next several years and they are already scaling in. By the time you find out Ark owns 2,000,000 shares it will be too late because the train will have already left the station.
Anytime ARK buys something, people follow in. Look at NNDM, EVGN, and AQB stock.

I got in on IPO day at 300 @ $10.70 . It’s been in the red ever since but I do believe the future for this company is huge so I’m going to hold and actually keep adding more to bring down my average cost.

So I read today that Palantir signed a deal with the US government to help with data and keeping track of Covid and vaccines. And Palantir also signed a deal with Qatar to help with the country’s economic transformation. I think this was why we saw some upward trend today. It’s looking like a Palantir is on the verge to bring out. Ark Also bought more shares today.

I think going public is gonna be great for the company overall. Cause now management will have pressure put on them to work on their margins, grow revenue etc.

I been following Palentir since the announcement that Peter Thiel said he invested in them some years ago. I bought the day they went public and been buying a little bit more each day. how does the option trading work? does the stock need to be at a certain price by 2023?
@@datguy8662 That's going to take a while to explain typing it out. CZcams has many videos on how to understand options. Search CZcams for basics of options. They do work like a stock if your buying calls. But I will explain how I am using them. I like to hold stock for a long time and don't want to sell. So I use the options to make money so I don't have to sell my shares. Example: I have owned Visa for 12 years. I buy calls short term and long term on Visa hoping it will go up to make money. There are many ways to use options to make money even if the stock doesn't move much. Calls and Puts you can buy them or sell them even though you don't own the stock. Thats the best I can tell you. 👍

I had my eye on this company when I first heard that it was going to go public six months ago. When it IPOd I was expecting it to price much much higher which gave me pause but I figured I’d pull the trigger anyway and purchased 3000 shares at $10. 74. Probably a bit too early but I feel I got it at a decent price. I like the idea of looking at data as the new oil, it makes a lot of sense. It’s almost akin to what Google was to the Internet 20 years ago.

Yea i got caught holding a bag of 8k+ shares for $11.30. Ima.... hold onto those for a while..... a few years probably. i will be very surprised if not 3x in 5 years. i think they have potential to be tesla-levels of overvalued which would mean 10x in 5 years even though the technicals aren't there yet. but they may surprise us. I think it's mostly going to depend on the private sector and what they can accomplish there. I really hope they can build cheaper and more mass-market tools for businesses of all shapes and sizes to take advantage.
I bought a few shares on launch day at $10.73, which is quite expensive, but I have confidence in this one. I've been using their software for a few months now and I firmly believe that it is almost essential for the Intelligence Community. I don't see the federal government dropping this one any time soon and I only see more entities in the commercial sector picking up their products in the next few years. I'll likely buy a lot more shares in the coming months once I open up some cash. Got most of my money tied up in WKHS and SPCE right now, and only 40 shares of PLTR.

@@sckimlaw accredited investors can buy from entities set up to acquire restricted shares from insiders who wish to liquidate a portion of their position. My shares are restricted until the lockup period ends. It pays to grow your net worth to become accredited. Another reason to learn to invest and maximize savings and defer doo dads. I also have 5000 shares of Impossible Foods.
Read Rich Dad and other investing books. CZcams can also be a great educational tool.
I buy $10 of TSLA and $10 of SQ every day in Cashapp to teach my grandkids the benefits of simplicity, consistency and self discipline.

I thought that there are tons of companies working with big data - all internet search companies, etc. What is their competitive advantage ? E.g. Russian Yandex search company moved into taxis/maps/traffic jams, then into analysis of geological information/where to drill, then metallurgical data, etc...

Bought 1000 shares on day 1 at about $11. Main reason: Thiel. Listen to his podcast with Eric Wenstein and you realise that he's next level. One of the only times I've seen Weinstein put in the shade (he is his boss I suppose..)

I bought gilead right away on news that their corona Med is fda approved and it’s the only COVID-19 FDA approved med yet their stock fell! I don’t seems to get it. Gilead stocks should be all time high but it’s all time low.

Any time a company strives, does the hard work to find and do the "moral" thing, it will prosper, all else being equal or well managed. What's so unique about Palantir is their leaders' constant reference to doing the right thing for their customers and our country, while more and more of the corporate world don't give a damn about the " right" or "moral" thing.

I initially bought 100 shares opening day. Then I sold my shares of Ford and bought 35 more shares. So now I'm at 135. I think I'm going to wait a little while and see where this company is going before I buy additional shares. If the stock dips by 50% then I'll add even more because... Well then it'll really be a bargain. Right now I'm more focused on NIO and work horse.

11:54. Sounds like he just gave his company an excess of $1T evaluation over the long run. (Keep in mind Microsoft, as pure a software play as there has ever been, is $1.6T today.). It's good to be ambitious. The problem is, I still have no real idea what their business model is. I have a thing against investing in companies I don't understand. I wonder if ARK has posted their research on them yet.
The fact that this company IPO'd and stayed pretty flat is a gift. I am buying in regular tranches until I build a meaningful position.
