The Biggest Arc in Chainsaw Man is Just Getting Started

Chainsaw Man Part 2 has been serializing for quite a while and it's been getting mixed reception to say the least. Although I enjoyed the new main character and the exploration of her psyche in a devil filled world where she feels all alone due to unfortunate circumstances and her not so appealing nature, others weren't so keen on switching over to Asa MItaka. I've been hearing complaints upon complaints about how Chainsaw Man had grown stale over Part 2 since there didn't seem to be much of an overarching plot line but recently, everything has changed. It seems like we're finally heading towards a huge climax centered around the insanely hyped up Death Devil. I knew Fujimoto had something special in store for Part 2 throughout its entire run and it's great to finally see things kick up and get truly insane. It's been hurting my soul to see Denji get stopped on by various organizations and even relive some of his darkest moments when faced against the Falling Devil. Hopefully my boy finally learns how to stop being a complete simp. Who am I kidding, it's Denji, that'll never happen, but I really am looking forward to seeing more of Asa and Denji's interactions as they try to navigate through this chainsaw filled mess.

Honestly, I think the people that have been complaining about part 2 aren't as into the series as they claim. The first half of part 1 was slow and used to build the world and characters too.
