It's because of the capstone in the purple tree, your weapons ignore enemy elemental resistances for a short time

Yes! I called it will be blue tree. I was experimenting too, and since the Amara's skills has too long CD - this is only decision.

This was not what I was expecting for the kensai build but a cool twist. I’m trying one with TTB, no blue tree, no cryo, and weapons with splash or melee attachments. Has been working pretty well.

This build does do awesome against bosses Moxsy ! All u have to do is switch to the orb and a pointy stabber and the ball one shots all bosses in this game
Just switch ur shield, relic, to help ur orb and a pointy stabber and facepuncher and bossing is easy!!

What a dumb decision to make the Kensei does fake melee... It could’ve completely changed how we played Amara. I would be happy if it only did 5% extra real melee tbh, it’s all the cool interactions that I want.

@@grandduelslover3055 I don't think It would be broken. The White Elephant, Static Charge relics depend on melee damage. If the Kensei only gave a few % extra melee, it would be fine. But I guess Gearbox already tested it, and it was probably too broken.

One critcal key to this build is the the Action Skill Start that triggers shield break. Much easier to use the lev 60 groundbreaker and use the xtra five points in Heavy Rain or
No Mistakes in Nature to get the Cryo Element. Much better survivability and way better bossing even without the Groundbreaker perk yet. Does Massive damage!!! MoXsy, Try it.

All the new class mods just don't make sense and they all suck:
Kensei, a purple tree class mod, works when you use your action skill, and the new action skill for the 4th skill tree is faze flare which last for like a minute
Spy, just straight up doesn't work AT ALL, it doesn't stack with seeing red so it's pretty much useless
Eternal flame (idk if I recalled the name but the Moze one) resets your action skill, but the purple tree is built so that you never run out of iron cub and you will never be in cool down
Flak's class mod, let's just not even talk about it, it's like the trainer 2.0
Zanes spy class mod is FAR from useless. Getting so many stacks of commitment and your damage goes through the roof. As for the other ones..... yea

Well that exactly may be the point for the kensei a classmod than can also be run with not one single point in purple tree. For the other ones I don’t know enough about them yet

I run Shotgun melee build with FacePuncher,Brainstormer,Reflux it wrecks
So, something I kinda am going to try to wish into reality, if we get a shield that makes us immune to Cryo damage, in the same way that we become immune to Radiation with the Red Suit... could we get a return of the Amarapocalypse build but with Cryo damage? Here's hoping for that to be a thing.
Nice build moxsy! Maybe you can put more points in red and green if you only put 5 points in blue trees first line - you will also freeze everything and have a 5sec asc with basic phasecast, and it kills enemies ^^ would love to share with you if you are interested

Been doing a similar build with ties that bind instead of the phase cast for about a week now. Will definitely have to check this one out.

From someone who has been in love with the Gamebreaker Amara build for sometime now, this is a seriously enjoyable build to switch to.
More action packed but equally as devastating in a crowd.
Would recommend Moar Eezy Gargoyle (ASE Splash 200%) as a brutal pistol for this build.
Even though it’s not as Melee-Centric as Gamebreaker, a 250% Phasecast Face-Puncher is still a fine gun on this build.

Amara is the only vh that I have not been able to get into. I don't think TTB is fun, and the phaseflare is fun but too frustratingly buggy. This build looks promising though 😁
Im gna try a cryo kaos w this bc it has that explosion when u kill an enemy w it so if u got a group fozen 1 shot should explode all frozen enemies in that area.
Yo mox, I found an interesting combo for fl4k and I think you should see if you can do anything crazy with it. Brainstormer or reflux with consecutive hit anoint, stack bot class mod, and pearl of knowledge. I know you are a amara main but you know how the math of borderlands works.

this is just common fl4k knowledge everyone knows that reflux can hit crits with megavore and works well with consec hits
I'm not a fan of amaras 4th action skill, so this build looks way more appealing to me

Yooo this is super cool! I definitely like your version, but I'm gonna keep improving my recursion set up. I'm curious to see if the idle is enough to sustain health tho, given how fast I clear mobs. I very well might end up seeing how the nimbus works. Anyone know if still scales off currently equipped weapon? Does it even get mayhem scaling?

I honestly bet moxsy can't make a rough rider build viable on all vault hunters as the shield is sadly pretty bad, and I mean a constant zero shield cap, so no classmod/artefact that gives extra shields
It's mostly bad because it doesn't interact with topped off even though the shield is full capacity 0/0. I have one on pc for slam/200% melee with a roid/hp roll that I'd love to use

Until they fix the bug yeah you’ll lose damage but you could take the three points and move them to the middle instead of into infusion and see if that works
