I use the sand dipper alot in the water and get alot of good shells. The sand flee rake is good but to me the Sand Dipper is better and I have both

Just returned home at 3 am this morning from the vacay of our lifetime with my lil fam of 6.. found the PERFECT condo, for a steal, for 5 days, and I cried when we had to leave.. it was in St Thomas square at Panama City Beach. I love my mountain home, but I sure love to visit PCB in the spring or fall!! I'm a shell head like you also, I have about 3 buckets we brought home🥰

@@BeachBumminDad it really does, however I'm torn down the middle. I live in the Smoky Mtns, and it is just HOME, ya know? Breathtaking beauty.. I was born in Jacksonville Fl, but moved to the mtns when I was 7 and fell in love.They are polar opposites, and idk, it's a tough call for me. Blessed to be able to enjoy both every now and then!
That model sand dipper looks like the one that can also be used as a walking stick. You just remove the basket on the end and it has a tip to be used to steady yourself if you have vertigo problems.

Hi Lisa, In the Florida Panhandle they can be found at WalMart and area sporting goods stores.
I didnt think either 1 looked to safe for the shells that u may pickup with critters in them! The shells could be damaged the critter could be damaged or unable to make it back to the surf. For people that cant shell without a tool Then the smaller 1 would probably do less damage because ur not picking up as much at 1 time. Any how happy hunting👍
