I just realized the fact that at least two of my friends has spend over 300 dollars for less than 10 dollar worth of electrical components. Pretty much becouse it was packed and sold as an tattoo machine power supply. 😝 Despite the fact they had no need to buy another one for years, pretty pricey little DC power supply.. ☝️

Yeah cheaper power supplies can’t maintain its signal under load. This will give you inconsistent lines best to actually spend that money

i guess if you could find one thats compatible with clip cord, or get an adapter. but it seems like it would only add weight to an already heavy unit.

Voltage doesnt increase speed, it increases the force that is going into the skin. The CPS pretty much stays the same when voltage is increase. By changing the stroke you can increase the speed shorter stroke is faster. Im new to tattooing like 3 weeks in and i know this bro. Your making videos educating people make sure you do research

Wrong. In case of rottary machines, if you increase voltage, you also increase its speed and force. Its engine, more power means more rpm of that engine. Look at the Cheyenne Hawk Thunder, you cant change size of the stroke, so only way you can change speed is through voltage.
With shorter stroke, the number of cycles per remain the same, but needles traveling a greater distance in the same amount of time. So the needles are traveling faster but the machine is not cycling faster.
Shorter stroke = faster and stronger hit, same number of hits per second
More voltage = slightly stronger hit, more hits per second
