I've owned 2 outcast v2 4s and the only weak point is the chassis, so I bought a m2c chassis brace for 70$ and trust me dude it makes a huge difference. I feel so much more comfortable with the chassis brace.

This is cool, I have a V1 EXB roller and i'm just blown away with how durable the V2's are i initially was drawn away from getting an Arrma 8s truck but seems they now fixed the materials on the aluminum and plastics. I'm hoping my V1 can hold up and it will be more reliable then my X-Maxx.

I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised to see that chassis is still perfectly straight! I bought the 4s Outcast because I was unsure about a metal chassis. 🤓

From what it looks like, thunder they probably went to a true 7075 t6 chassis and improved the formula of the plastic
it is just the v1 but with different motor and esc and slightly different tires.
@@DashzRight it's the V1 EXB with electronics. It's heavily upgraded over the actual V1 RTR.
Only difference between this EXB RTR and the EXB roller are the arms (new plastic formula since V1s broke so easily), and proper 7075 chassis. Other than those 2 updates, it's the EXB roller with electronics RTR.

With all the discontinued models recently from arrma like the new 4S v2 line I'm having major second thoughts on buying the brand now.
Thats Horizon Hobbies. Always discontinue everything. I have 5 models that have been discontinued.

@@amavarrc The Losi 3XLE is getting hard to find specific parts for but those parts are ones that dont break often if ever. The Proboat Zelos has very few parts that can fail and i can still find the hull for it. 1/10 Rock Rey is fairly easy to find parts for. My Eflite F-18 Hornet EDF is still easy to find parts for. My Super Baja Rey V1 is still easy to find parts for. Outcast 8s EXB V1 is also easy to find parts for.

Looks like they filled the diffs right and/or the new tires don’t ballon as bad. Mine ballooned the front tires so bad out the box had to take out and actually put some diff fluid in it lol

Yes I put the brakes up to 75 percent and punch is at 3

what is the actual difference? im assuming v1 isnt this tough? I cant find a clear comparison online telling me everything that differs from v1 to v2

Yeah, didnt like how now even the EXBs dont come as rollers anymore. The stock electronics just dont do these things justice, being a Max6 combo. I put a Max 5 paired with a Tenshock x501 into mine; that thing FLIES. (friend called it a "surface to air torpedo")

It’s a FACT, this truck is insane! For the most part I am an X-MAXX driver, but I would be an outright liar if I said one single negative thing about this beast. Traxxas needs to bring the design team on triple overtime (if they haven’t already) FYI, you KNOW they have a few of these and are taking notes…if not, maybe they should be.

The main differences is the compound in the plastics and the driveshafts. so the arms are tougher, and the drive shafts are tougher💪💥🏆🏆🏆⚡️

Thunder is the chassis the same as v1 or did they beef it up?
It seems more beefed up. But I think what is going on here is that they used a better material for the Chassis🚀🔥🔥🏆🏆

Did you notice any difference in handling with the new tires?
They're bigger so might be a slight difference but that added weight gives even more air control. I like em a lot personally. Only 680g per tire too so still very light compared to majority of tires.

Arrma great platform but replacement parts is a different story , yes have both and arrma parts have always cost more then any of my traxxas .. that being said bash on bashers no matter what you have. LOVE THE HOBBIE NOT THE MAKER !! 😊
