Amazing guys thank you for sharing such a beautiful story
I'm loving this documentary of HR !!
I have a friend that studied under/took lessons from HR. He is an excellent jazz guitarist to this day. If I'm not mistaken this was some time between 1970-1975.
Howard Roberts has the sound I would like to emulate as well...but probably not actually, as well.
I agree that there is more to this great story than 5 episodes can cover. So, keep the cameras ready and please extend the series.
This was Excellent. Howard is at the top of the list for my all time favourite jazz players. Thx for this.
Spellbinding. Great Documentary!
Please don't end this with just 5 episodes.Like to hear about making those albums. Then the ABC Years.Like to know about the Guitar institute in LA. Did he sell it? When did he move to Seattle? Please continue! How.long did he live in Oregon? What a genius!!!
Sometimes you need some xtra info to recognize the genius. He only got scale for his albums? Would sure like to know what record with Johnny Guitar Watson HR is on.
Well done!
Loved this.
I thought it was lester and earl who did 'the beverly hillbillies?
Love it!
i gotta chuckle when people write books about the guitar styling of other players. i guess they need learn to play somewhere?
