I am so grateful for your teaching. You are an excellent teacher. I learned your trip around the world quilt method and it was soooo easy! Thank you 🙏🏻
It was awesome that you also made the second apron. Showing people how to basically make their own patterns from existing clothing. My mom would buy a pair of popular pants for me. Then take them apart and make me 2 or 3 more pairs. She was awesome
I love the two aprons! I thought about putting the opposite colors for the pockets on each side of the apron. I think that it would bring it all together even better!
Hi Donna. I like the yardage apron best. I want to make this for my 13 yr old granddaughter who is not as big as you or I. So how much yardage is needed for a smaller version?
My vote is the one you made from your own yardage. I love your tutorials! You always make me feel as if I can do anything, and that makes me not afraid to try something new. I hate watched many people make videos but you are by far, my absolute favorite! I wish you had taught me many years ago because if you had, I'd be sewing up a storm!!! Keep up the great work!
I was starting to wonder as well!! But then I realize Donna makes these projects all within one week, and her son edits the videos for our viewing so image how quickly they get it all done!! It's so crazy that they produce this good of content within such a short amount of time.
Wow! Lovely ! I stitched these reversible aprons many years back .I Tatted few contrast coloured flowers & slip stitched them around the neckline & pockets! They came out very well. Ur explanation is very clear. Keep Sharing more of your Tutorials.Bye!.
I know I'm late to the party (as usual) but these apron instructions are so easy to follow and understand. Thank you for showing us that we don't always need a pattern to make something nice. They both look great, but I'm a sucker for purple, so yeah, that's my favorite one!
I loved them both, with the black and white one I would of liked the same pattern, but in the red. After watching this I will start making aprons, as I don’t believe they ever really go out of fashion. What a nice gift they’d make, thank you, you did a beautiful job.
Donna, I love the black daisy floral print the best! Your quarter circle tip to soften the corners is brilliant. I’m so glad I am subscribed to your channel. Your videos and tutorials are awe inspiring! Thank you!
I love the chickens but really like how easy this pattern is I need to make a bunch of aprons for the great grand kids grand kids and matching the kids Donna you are the best thank you
Hi Donna! I love love love the Riley Blake apron panel!! I am so addicted to Jordan Fabrics tutorials. I’m a big fan of the panel design apron but I must admit the “using your own fabric” make would be just as easy. I love your energetic personality and your clear and precise instructions. Keep the tutorials coming!
I love this apron and how you showed making it from a yard of material. Very easy to follow with your directions that you wrote down. I'm going to give this one a try I really like it. Thanks for showing it . I like the black and white one especially it's very nice, the purple and pink one it's also nice. But my favorite is the black and white.
I've watched a lot of your tutorials. Learned a lot. Love the fabrics you choose. I will make this apron for sure, but I think I'll measure and draw the curved lines on one side then fold fabric in half and cut both sides at once. Saving some time and both sides will be exactly the same.
Really Cute! I remember my grandmothers fusing around their kitchens and they always had on aprons of all different colors and patterns. I think I'll continue the tradition and make matching aprons for me and my granddaughter.
I love how you pinned the apron to the lining and then sewed. I have always cut them both out first, but I'm going to try this way next time! Love the Riley Blake apron panel.
You are such a GOOD TEACHER!!! I love them both. But I prefer the one with the yardage. Smart Lady!! I have shared your tutorial with my friends overseas. Although they do not speak english..... Your tutorials are so details... Language is secondary... thank you for teaching us all.
Oh my goodness🙀! For a person such as myself, just starting to sew, this superbly demonstrated video is phenomenal! I can do this! Thank you sooo much for sharing!
I loved this video. I liked both aprons. I loved the way you lined them and did not have to have bias tape! Grandma Sue in Central Indiana and Izzi Too
What a fantastic and easy way to add a lining!! I never thought about cutting the lining AFTER sewing it to the outside bodice. Genius! Just found your channel. Just subscribed. Thank you!
This brought back memories of making an apron when I was in middle school and made one that looks just like these in home ec. My favorite is the black with flowers. I'm so making this with my daughter. Thank you for all your great work Donna. I'm new to quilting so your work has inspired me to do more and how to line up my seam when I need them to.
Donna, I have missed your smile, as well as your simple and direct tutorials. Please have your son put up a text with something like "snowed under in Grants Pass, but back next week with a fabulous new tutorial" next time. Some of us follow faithfully and were concerned. You are really a treasure. I love the apron from measurements-- I can add longer ties because I am an ample woman. 💕
I am so glad my sister recommend you to me. I have been trying to quilt for only about 4 years. It's been trial and error for me. I am 65 so I am getting in the craft kind of late. I love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
Where have you been?!! So glad you are back! Love your tutorials, great as always....I always look forward to watching you! You really are brilliant figuring out all of these measurements for us!! Thank-you again!
This tutorial came at the he perfect time I wanted to make a apron for my daughter for Christmas. Love the one from yardage, this is gonna looked sooo cute in back and white polka dot material!
I like both aprons, would make the black flowers for myself and granddaughter ❣️. Thank for all your helpful videos Donna, like your idea for the curtain rod turner. 🇨🇦
Thanks a million for making the two aprons giving us the possibility of learning how to use a panel and the measurements for making one from our stash. This is awesome! 🌺🌸
This tutorial also came at the perfect time for me as I have some Thanksgiving fabric I have been wanting to make into an apron but haven't found a pattern yet. This is perfect. Thank you. 😊
I made this apron out of my own fabric, it was so easy, your instructions were so easy. Thank you Donna I had never owned an apron until now and I am 70. I have done many of your patterns in my Cancer quilts but what I love the most about you and Matt is you are so generous to give your quilts away. I give all mine away and I was delighted to see you do the same..
What a timely video, I was just thinking about making an apron! I love them both but the yardage one is probably my favorite. Thank you for giving me tons of inspiration! :-)
The fabric apron was my favorite; I want to make the Japanese style apron but not sure where to get a pattern. It would be so pretty in one of your grunge fabrics.
When I click on the giveaway link, I fill out my details but when I click to submit it, it comes up with ‘you’re already subscribed to giveaway’ which of course I haven’t! Been doing this for months. Anyone else having the same problem? Love the apron, have saved it to definitely come back to, to make 1 or more 👌🏻
Love the purple apron. Your tutorials are the best. You take time and your cameras get all the hard to spots. Keep making these for those of us that really appreciate you!!
@Catherine charlwood....Oh, that is an excellent idea! I am new to sewing and still don’t have the confidence to grade a pattern. My grandchildren would appreciate their own customized apron when they bake with me☺️
Catherine, For the 2 and 4 yr olds why not get a couple of seasonal cotton dish towels and curve the top and bottom corners. For the neck and waist ties use coordinating ribbon. For the 8 yr old start by using Donna's measurements then reduce the by 1/3 or 1/2 depending on the height of the child. Hope this is useful.
I hope you get this message. THIS VIDEO IS ONE OF THEE BEST APRON MAKING VIDEOS OF ALL OF YOU TUBE. Thank you!!

When a curve is needed, I usually get a plate, or pot lid, or bowl, etc. from the kitchen and trace the curve.
You are amazing! You make it all look easy. A great teacher.
How did you know that I wanted to make some aprons? 😉 Perfect timing - thank you! I love the daisy apron.
