Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

I love how Abuelita is on top, She's the most ruthless of them all
the true mastermind behind the cartel
There’s a reason that we know nothing about her.
The skaters were lucky she went upstairs and they only had to deal with Tuco
She's an OG
Of course she's on top, she's also Tony Montana's mother
It's even better because Abuelita was also Scarface's mom
Oh wow that’s sick
Hector was Alberto, the hitman from Sosa, that Tony shot in the car...
...which also was the only scene where Mark Margolis and Steven Bauer were in together..
And Steven Bauer played Manolo Ribeiro in Scarface as well.
Also Biznatch

Abuelita was sweet in BCS though she was the true badass in Scarface. Great compilation.
The twins were on that rooftop for 14 hours waiting for Kaylee to take a swim.
Lol these are the type of comments I live for
After 4 hours, now now, he's finally looking
Also, Mike must have the best eyesight in the world to be able to make out Marco's finger gun gesture at that distance. Their hands are barely visible from that far away, so most people would just see two men in suits on a rooftop with one of them lifting a hand to their chest for a second then leaving lol.
Commitment 👌🏾
That called dedication & professionalism
It’d be crazy if they made a spinoff and it turned out that Abuelita was the most terrifying of all of them
What if Tuco only lied to abuelita about blood on the floor because she doesn't want mess in her home, but outside her home she doesn't care anymore 🤔
I don't think they need another spinoff, especially if repeat aging actors are present. I love BCS but the obvious ages on some of the characters were jarring for a prequel.
Besides, they tied up everything really nice.
Another unrelated show led by Vince and crew world be neat though.
@@JKBDTS Maybe Tuco was hiding it because the blood was too less and they were still alive
Yes but Mark Margolis…
Maybe set in the 70s Mexico with badass young abuelita working with the cartel. Could even include a post-credits scene with a young Walter White getting his first chemistry set.
The only negative thing I have to say about the BrBa universe is that we didn't get a scene with Hector, Lalo, Tuco and the cousins. I would pay good money to see that. Unfortunately, it's not possible anymore.
R.I.P. Our tio Mark Margolis
I say this almost everyday it woulda been so awesome :/
wasn’t there the hospital scene when hector got paralyzed?
@@theinfamoustucoexcept Tuco was in prison
@@Iron_Void yeah that was mb i rewatched it and it was nacho not tuco
On brba lalo was already dead
It would have been lovely to see them all in one scene all together. They’re a family, aren’t they?
It's already done, the show is called After Life
I believe there is a cut scene of them all at the Olive Garden
Fun fact: Better Call Saul 6x01 "Wine and Roses" is the only episode in BB universe to include 4 Salamancas. These were Marco, Leonel, Lalo and Hector. Sadly they didn't all appear in one scene. The most Salamancas that appeared in one scene was 3. Marco, Leonel and Hector
Note: Photos don't count.
Edit: I realized that if you count photos, then BCS 6x07 "Plan and Execution" has 5 Salamancas 0_0

02:48 That is not Joaquin Salamanca, that is Gaff. Gaff is strangled by Mike's garrote next to the pool. Jessie shoots Joaquin later while they are escaping, Gus very specifically mentions that to Hector while he's gloating.
Yes! You noticed too
I noticed that as well
Yeah, this got me confused too.
It's the same guy , u guys are slow 😂
Joaquin was the guy who shot Mike when he was escaping Don Eladio's compound, and was then shot by Jesse.
The fact that we know nothing about Hector's own son and his brothers - the fathers of Lalo, Tuco and Marco & Leonel - gives us so much material for a separate project on the Salamanca family!

If he wouldn't have called her bizznatch in front of Tuco, it's possible that Tuco might have pulled out some money and just told them to go away. They were beaten up because they were disrespectful.
It’s also funny to think that one little change like that would pretty much have drastic effects the further you get on the timeline, to the point where the events of Breaking Bad might have turned out very differently than they did in reality
Actually he was goin a let them go
Jimmy was about to cut the boys loose until one started blabbing to Tuco about how Jimmy was the one who planned the hit n run
If they’d have kept their mouths shut they’d all have been fine no broken legs or ptsd
Would have loved an interaction between abuelita and Hector.
It would have been funny seeing Hector genuinely respectful and caring.

I like how there's a Lady Salamanca or Tuco's sister that no one talks about. Imagine if she shows up out of nowhere revealing to be the most dangerous Salamanca of them all. Leave one wolf alive and the sheep's are never safe.
She's dead, I don't think Gustavo would leave her
Gus said all the Salamanca are dead when he talks to Hector. Also a policy of Blood for Blood implies they have had Salamancas die before.
@@Dylan-yy3rw damn, I wonder how crazy they were, we know too little about them.
The Salamanca women probably stayed out of the cartel business.
This is not Joaquin Salamanca. Joaquin was shot by Jesse when escaping, just like Gustavo told Hector in the hospital.
I’m glad someone else caught this I was searching to see if anyone else noticed
@@gr8valu3 Thank you I love this series very much, very well done, all the actors, known and unknown, everything was very coordinated from the first season to the last season, and the details of the things I love I never forget.
That's crazy how even the Official CZcams got it wrong, Lmao
Lmao that's hilarious.
Joaquin is so obscure in the breaking bad universe that even the official channel for Breaking Bad and Better call saul content got his appearances wrong.
My personal head cannon is Gaff was Joaquin Salamanca, and Hector only told him that Jesse killed him to emasculate his image and memory post-mortem. A white lie amidst the bloodshed. Nobody ever addresses his name and there are visual parallels between Lalo and Gaff observing the chicken farm
Abuelita is the boss of the family and she survived to restart the family
I don't think she survived, but ok
I don't think all the cartel drug stuff was from her, maybe from one of her husband's, because surely she had so many partners xD
Other people said it and i'll say it too
I would LOVE a scene where the entire salamanca family is together. Lalo, Tuco, Marco, Leonel, Abuelita, Joaquín and Hector, but it's literally impossible right now
R.I.P. Mark Margolis :(
I’d love to have a Salamanca prequel spin-off! Even if it’s with a new cast I’m sure everyone would do a great job
as long as lalo is still tony dalton
@Bigc602 how exactly would that make any sense????😂😂😂😂
@@alexcross7583
Nah I see what he means. Tony dalton was goated as Lalo but he is getting older so for a prequel they’d have to get someone younger. Unless they just de age him but they never bothered to do that for anyone in Better Call Saul.

5:00 It’s nice that Mike will finally get his revenge on one of them.
There is so much they can do with their family if they made a spin off of their rise to power.. a lot of bloodshed, betrayal, you name it they can do a whole new cast of actors/actresses and show us who his brothers were and even some sisters. It would be like a whole different show that can answer a lot of things about them and that side of the cartel like how they meet eladio and bolsa. Show why Hector treated his own men like nothing and how they paid for eladio’s hacienda. It would be awesome and very interesting

Abuelito is more likely to be Tuco's grandma from the other side of the family. Based on her and Hectors ages, as well as the difference between her and Hectors character, it is not very likely that she is Hectors mother.
It was confirmed by the creators that she's Hector's mom. Also Lalo knew her.
