Nau Mai Haere Mai Ki Aotearoa Nga Tangata O Te Ao…
WE hope you had a great experience and enjoyed your stay on the Whenua-Land and gained Matauranga-Knowledge and understanding from an indigenous perspective, where you can return to your Whenua and share that same Matauranga and Aroha-Love with other Tangata-People…
Whakapapa-Whanaungatanga-Kotahitanga-Manaakitanga-Aroha…are powerful Kupu-Words that describe and resonate with who WE as Māori are and which is also entrenched in our DNA…
WE are a proud Warrior Race of people who some would say travelled not only in the South Pacific, but around the AO-World in the days of Ole, leaving hints and traces where ever WE went before finally settling in Aotearoa…
Aotearoa is our Taiao-Universe in our little corner of the world, and WE are glad you came to experience and share our light, our energy and our vibration for WE are the first in the AO-World to see the light of day, and the first to see the sunset!…
No Reira…Nga Mihi Arohanui Kia Koutou Katoa…No Nga Tangata O Aotearoa…TIHEI MAURI ORA😜

The Hongi is an ancient sacred practice of acknowledgement to both the physical & spiritual greeting between the two people sharing that special space of where the moment each other touch nose to nose they've connected to the spiritual realm that alerts each other's loved one's (ancestors) who are then greeting & acknowledging each other on the otherside smiling down upon their descendants watching their every move & mood as the welcoming ceremony proceeds. There are more aspects to the traditional Hongi that coincides with the Welcoming (Powhiri/Pohiri) ceremony by the acknowledgement of the breath of life each other takes when they also touch nose to nose in recognizing the air or breath that you inhale from your nostrils, if good enough for me, is good.enough for as this is the same air by which we both live by. There's more but here's just an example of our cultural identity it's protocols & practices

And simply the hongi with the shaking of hands with nose pressing and breathing in the breath of life into each other.
