OMG, if that’s your place at the beginning of this vid, how wonderful and soulful and I thought I had it good living both near the moors and the ocean here in Cornwall! And you follow it with some great clips of what looked like a brilliant trip with some good friends. Brilliant! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Richard for your kind words and support. I love the moors in Cornwall, and of course the ocean is beautiful. Yes, you actually see my place in the previous video, “how I got the blues” but this is basically my back yard. I’m massively grateful to live here at the moment, but it’s only temporary… just like life I guess 😉
Indeed a very beatiful place Lee, it reminds my a lot to the area of Crozon in NW France where we Surf and Windsurf a lot. Celtic strip though;-) is your place in Canada?
Lee your lessons are gold!!! Please ride on
Many thanks! I’m actually SW France 👍
whaouaaaaa good job- bravo ;)

@@leejohnblackmoremusic I am your french Friend 😄
Merci beaucoup !
As a side hustle you could get a gig promoting tourism to Morocco and other destinations. A fabulous first few minutes canvassing the sights of what looks to be an amazingly beautiful country.
Is a beautiful country and full of beautiful people🇲🇦
Brilliant cover Lee.... I'm loving the little intro bits of the beach and your holiday. Take it you've moved house recently :)
Yeah, I moved about six months ago 😀🙌🎸 thanks for your support dude, I really appreciate it.
love the way you play the song and then explain it quickly and efficiently :) @@leejohnblackmoremusic
Enjoy bro 😎👍🎸
This is great , back in there early 90’s me and my mate spent a month in Tunisia and Morroco in a Land Rover with our acoustic guitars the memories will always live with me. Thanks Lee.
Dude, that would’ve been even more amazing in the 90s, so much has changed in the country now. You’ll never beat travelling for the most amazing experiences. 🙌
Yes it was fantastic. May I ask how you get that string sound at the start?
Oh do you mean the synth part ? It’s just a legacy plug-in on logic
Right thanks for the info on that. I still do gigs every now and again ( age 59 ) just acoustic open up for other local bands in Kildare in Ireland . Im from England been here 16 years. I use a Ax Zoom pedal for chorus and the like but would like that synth sound in my set.
Yeah, I’m not sure how you would replicate it live, unless you used a midi pick up or some sort of sample trigger, or simply play on a synth, I found some great tutorials on CZcams 👍
Thanks so much for an awesome lesson! I have been a U2 fanatic my whole life and this song is a really special one!!! I would absolutely love to see you do a lesson for Bad and the Tiny Desk version of beautiful day if you get a chance!
Thank you so much! I’m sure I will at some point 😎🎸👍
Thanks!
Ahh dude! That’s super kind of you, thank you so much for your support! I’m really grateful👍🎸 LJ
@@leejohnblackmoremusicI’d do it monthly but I don’t like PayPal. Ever feel like setting up a patreon account?
Your production values have really soared lately.
Thank you. Sometimes it’s really difficult to find the time to put into videos, but when I do have the time I’ll make the effort 👍
Brilliant that! You could make that into a Rattle and Hum type Doc. 👍Now where's my Guitar...🎸🛣️
😎👌🎸
Thanks Mate...Wicked lesson although dadgad is a little beyond my ability it's very interesting to see...Also thank you for sharing your fond memories of Morocco...You can't beat Travelling it's addictive....
Hey Mark ! Thank you so much brother! It’s easier then you think but don’t worry I’ve done the easy version at the end 👍🎸
Hello Lee John, I am all the way from India, Actually I saw your video lesson of Master of puppets & iam your fan subscribe to your channel. I just want to say Thanku so much learn Guitar so easily.
Thank you so much 🙏 that’s really great to hear 👍🎸
Hello Lee John, you are just great, thanks for all the good videos, Would be nice if you could do Fairytale of New York in homage to the recently late Shane McGowan! Since its Christmas and all! All the best!
Thanks brother! Yeah I thought about it 👍🎸
Hey man, can you please do a lesson on Travis Meadows - Sideways?!
Suggestion what about putting chords up on the screen ?? Thanks colin
I’m not sure if that’s a sarcastic suggestion😆 anyway thank you. I agree and I do, depending how much time I have. The chord graphics sometimes take longer to make than the actual video 👍
@leejohnblackmoremusic no it wasn't Lee just thought it may help people out m8
@stringman509 no problem 👍
You're a legend mate, when are you coming down under?
Well, I lived down under for well over a year ! Plenty of stories there, that’s for sure 😉👍
Brilliant 😂
Thanks
What strings you recommend?
I use Elixir 12’s
Great cover as usual. For some reason I can picture U2 copy striking this... hopefully not!
No copyright strike, but they take the revenue 😆👌
Production has gone up ten fold. Singing and guitar playing still the same though (utter class)
😆👍 thanks brother 🎸 much appreciated 🙏
Sorry,my Englisch is not so good!!! I am from Germany Bavaria!!! Bayern!!!! Oktoberfest 😂
I understand! Many thanks 👍🎸
