After 36 years imho, this is the greatest intro ever recorded by any band or musician. The drumming has a different flavour but compliments it with great feel. 10/10
The last bridge to the end is bananas. That double kick drum just elevates a song I didn’t think could be elevated.
I could follow how the beat got more intense and he used more and more drums and then the double bass kicked in! This guy is not only amazing but is also a true artist.

I found the best way to know as much as you can about drumming is listen to everything and anything!! Helped me immensely, always have a wide genre of music to listen to!

Generally, as we grow up, we start to listen to other sounds that not necessarily belongs to the taste we acquire in youth, when we most of us are developing our musical identity.Thankfully that's how it works.

This is not like the original drum beat. This is much more advanced. The song is not very hard to play, in any of the instruments. U2 has played it live since 1987. They actually have songs that they did not play live because it was to difficult/they could not find an arrangement that worked. One example is Acrobat. But it is an amazing song. One of their best.

I like how the toms are emphasized in this song and the snare provides accentuation. The extensive use of various cymbals add brightness. Excellent cover.
So many drummers play this song without throwing off the snare. Nice to hear it done right!
I covered this song with my band in the mid 2000's, played it every weekend for 5 years straight, never got old and was always well received. Brilliant job on the cover, as always. Cheers.

Any time I hear this song , esp the intro and outro … I saw this tour at 16. It was amazing. I’ll never forget this song opening and the way it sounded in the Silverdome. Love watching the drum covers
I imagine that the original drummer must shit when he sees you play this song, you have such a keen sense of rhythm that you make the song much more enjoyable. I am a drummer, although not of your caliber, I enjoy playing covers and putting my own twist to them as you do. Actually I don't know if this is how he does it but then again I'm not a drummer so I could be wrong but I watched 2 other covers of the same song and theres differences.

I really enjoy what you add to these tracks.That crescendo where the double-kick starts up is especially tasty. A great example of how using stuff like that in moderation increases its effect. Keep up the good work.
