A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

ABBA is the greatest straight up pop that has ever existed.
Not really...
@@alanandconnielast Really. Teach yourself music. Don't be a victim and like what you're told you should. Peer pressure is a beast.
@@Dogslife_ Ik only stating they were not the best pop group ever... There were many others which were just as good if not better in that time period.
@@alanandconnielast DISCO DUDE..... ABBA is late 1970s..... Michael Jackson was POP 1982-83.... from an old guy
It's disco.
Nah, this song is bucket of happiness. Can't be sad. But most of their music is like that. Uplifting.
If you go down the ABBA rabbit hole, you gonna be there a long time, best pop group in history. Their song “Fernando” is another classic.
Indeed. Two of the greatest songs of all time.
Who else was grooving along with James?? 🙋🏼♀️
I was.
Huh! silly question. Answer: Everyone.
@@skarpio2000 My neighbors were too. He nailed it. You can NOT be in a bad mood when this is playing.
Anytime this song comes on!
Me! 🙋♀️
Abba is one of my favorite groups. Fernando is another great song
They have a deal on CZcams that tells about the group and they're starting when they first got together their marriages and everything they're starting up again they're making new songs and videos supposed to be coming out soon don't know when saw it a couple of weeks ago
the fourth most successful act in history after Elvis Micheal Jackson and the Beatles. And that without scandals en not so much touring. It is only the quality of the compositions, the arrangements and the production. And they are friendly people with 'friendly' music, good for your soul
Lay all your love on me - ABBA is great and not one of the songs everyone recommend. Underrated.
couldn't agree more & NO-ONE on the internet is reacting to Lay all your love on me ):
They didnt make any official video for it wich is totaly insane.
Agree !
dont need a video to react! (:
There is: czcams.com/video/05ZyePSIXS4/video.html
Fernando , Mamma Mia , and what I believe is their best and saddest song “The Winner Takes it All” . But there are many many more . You can’t go wrong with an ABBA song . I have them all , 🥰
Agnetha & Frida, so hot, they still burn Dancefloors
Huge disco hit. But Abba was much more than merely a disco group. Very talented musicians.
Mama Mia, SOS, Honey Honey, Waterloo, Fernando and the list goes on.....
ABBA is one of the greatest groups of all time. You can't go wrong.
The Greatest!!!
@@helenhunt5414 They are absolutely one of a kind. I have them tied with Beatles for greatest artists of the 20th century. Not too shabby.
ABBA = #Legends
So many amazing ABBA songs to delve in to! Gimme Gimme Gimme is a big favorite of mine
Once that keyboard hits, he's gonna recognize it instantly.
Yes, but the full version (4m50s), not the abridged music video.
And a favorite for Madonna too who sampled it on her Confessions album 😉
Benny said that she were very polite when asking them for permission wich they almost never give artists.
It is impossible to sit still while hearing this song.
The dark haired girl, Frieda, had some hits on her own in the 80s. This band is like the Bee Gees and they don't have a bad song! Everything they do is good. No, everything they do is GREAT! Voulez vous! Mama Mia! Does Your Mother Know.
ABBA, our greatest swedish music export of all times!🤩
but but, what about malmsteen??
kenneth voiles yes, also him. 1984 he got a Grammy for the album ”Rising force” the world most sold instrumental hard rock album at the time. But ABBA probably is the swedish group with most sold albums over all. We also have Roxette, Ace of bace, the Cardigans, Avicii, swedish house maffia, Europe, Robyn, Zara Larsson and others. And big music producers like Max Martin.
@@ullisfe1039 ah almost forgot europe, im ashamed of myself for it. i agree that abba is the greatest export, just didnt want to leave our malmsteen he is a legendary guitarist. he should be any top ten of best of all time guitarists. and yeah ive still got my copy of rising force album, bought it the day after it came out.
Abba = Legendary🔥
I roller skated to this many a time in the late '70's....lol
Can't go to a wedding without this song being played, and it is usually one that the bride and attendants dance together to. Just a fun girls night out song.
Whenever I'm in a bad mood I just binge some ABBA songs and then feel great
I can confidently predict that Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight) by ABBA will SLAY you.
I love Abba , if you are sad or depressed this song can really lift your spirits and even get your groove on. Lol
Thanks for the review.
I was 8 years old when I was on roller skates and in a roller rink listening to this song in 1976!
What memories! How lucky I was able to grow up in the 70s...greatest decade of music! So much creativity and talent with all kinds of diversity!!
You were right about rollerskating to this. You'd be flying along, the big silver ball spinning, white diamonds flying everywhere, clapping and grooving as you skated to "Dancing Queen." Every weekend, this was the thing. So much fun! Those were the days.
I think you going to like also "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! "by Abba.
U really need to react to their(Abba) song called Chiquitita 🔥🔥🔥
A beautiful song "Chiquitita"
I dunno why that song always makes me cry. Love it so much
Best song EVER!!!!!!
Their BEST tune, hands down. They’re Swedish.
I loved that dance move that the two women did, too! My “ ex”could have duplicated it.
You’re so right that it just absolutely puts you in the best mood ever - regardless of what’s happening around you.
ABBA IS THE BEEEEEESSSTTTTT
and that piano!!!!!
Lay all your love on me - ABBA (for Sure) !!! MY FAV ... Dancing Queen a close second.
Man, Abba is HUGE!
Go ABBA, go Sweden! So many good songs. 🇸🇪❤️
Yes, this was an extremely popular song in the roller rinks. LOL You hit it right on the nose!
I was 13 years old in 1977 and I was one of those kids who did indeed rollerskate to this. Precious memories...!!
GREAT REACTION!!! I agree, if you don’t want to move/dance when you hear this song, something’s wrong with you!
ABBA is perhaps the greatest disco group of all time!
ABBA rules the rink!!! This next one will be another one of your top favorites - Waterloo!
Love ABBAABBAABBA.
If you like this I think you're gonna like "Mamma Mia" even more and you'll love "Waterloo" and "Super Trooper".
I liked seeing you enjoy this song so much! It's the kind of song that just makes you feel good.
Abba was the hidden pleasure for many of us. kind of like disco to rock n rollers you didnt want to admit you like it but you have a cassette to listen to when you were in your car driving alone
Love me some ABBA@
This group is awesome ,great harmony and music .
This was our joint back in college in the mid-70's. We played the hell out of this one. There was this strange thing called a cassette tape that you popped into a machine in the dashboard of your car and it magically played music. The trip from home to college was 300 miles and we played this tape over and over and over. My roommate was also a fine pianist and he loved to play the three-chord phrase with his "air keyboard." Fun song. Also take a listen to "Knowing Me, Knowing You."
"Strange thing " 😂 I remember cassettes too. I literally wore out a copy of Rush: Exit Stage Left.
ABBA- Knowing Me Knowing You, Money Money Money and Fernando!
Another vote for "Knowing Me Knowing You"
I'd pick the first two you mention alongside The Name of the Game
ABBA ruled pop for most of the 70’s and is still being discovered and loved by all the generations that have followed. Their list of hits is huge!!!!!Dancing queen, for me, is their definitive song but it is “the first among equals”. You are about to go down a rabbit hole and I’m looking forward to seeing it. Great reaction vid’s. You are fast becoming my favourite reactor.
New subscriber and I'm loving the content. I saw Mama Mia on broadway and EVERYONE was on their feet singing and dancing to ABBA music.
No, you can't be in a bad mood when Dancin Queen comes on. I was about 5 when this came out and I instantly loved this song. One of my favorite first songs. That harmony and that beat and the thrilling strings make it amazing.
Another great oldie song love it
Fernando is one I would have chosen. This is an Abba I found just "okay."
Probably the Greatest dance pop song ever!! For real!
YES!!! I requested hearing this...and you did it.Maybe someone else did too.that's not the point...your doing the song.
Good to see you discovering ABBA. I discovered them before you were born and I can never get enough of 'em...don't just go for their big hits, try some their deep less well known cuts. Try "my mama said".
ABBA, one the greatest groups ever.....glad to see you are enjoying.
They perform this song for the Queen of Sweden
They did a live performance for the royal couple 1-2 nights before the royal wedding, I remember seeing it live on teve.
The Gods Of pop. Third biggest selling artists of all time after The Beatles then Elvis.
It astounds me when somebody hasn't heard this before, it was played for a long !time everywhere ,I can't believe I'm older than some people still feel like a teenager!
Wondering how you'd feel about Summer Night City, not their biggest hit, but I think you'd like it.
This is one of the greatest pop songs ever. But then again ABBA wrote and sang about 20 other of the greatest pop songs ever. Dozens and dozens of great songs. Written by Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus , one of the greatest songwriting duos ever. Keep doing ABBA songs. It is a veritable bottomless well of beauty. Try SOS in the future. Great song!
ABBA; one of the greatest groups 👏
I miss the 70s so bad 🥺 wish I could go back.
Sweden says yay!☺️🇸🇪 And no, there’s no way of not dancing when you hear their music ☺️
You should do WATERLOO next another uptempo song from Abba
Roller rink vibes, lol...yeah remember them playing this song there, when it was new :)
Winner takes all, just get the hankie ready 👍✌❤
I really didn't expect him to like this song.
Check out ABBA "Does your mother know " up beat
Love ABBA recast to their song Fernando
The Euro Kings of Disco, ABBA. Man do I miss those days. Dude, you would have loved The Garage and other dance clubs on the scene here in NYC at the time. All were welcome baby. It's time for the Queen Of Disco, Donna Summer and "Last Dance", "Love To Love You Baby", "Bad Girls", "Dim All The Lights", "I Feel Love" and "No More Tears".
The ladies of ABBA have great voices. I really like this song and 5 others of their songs. Fernando is another song of theirs
Back in the day for a DECADE ABBA was HUG in Europe
Mannnn... I grew up in the 1970's and it was a great time!! I loved their music and my mom caught me singing this while I showered... needless to say my vocals was everywhere lol!! Disco was the thing then... i remember my older brothers going out to the clubs and they were still in high school rofl!!
This my friend is what we used to say was "solid gold"!!
ABBA is still the best.......without a doubt
Michael Jordan used to say he was plaing this song 4 times before stepping on the court and that song was what help him become the player number one.
Its funny to see the hip hop generation bopping to this .... Ya can't help it ... It's an infectious song ..... Ya can't help but move when you hear this
No trip down 70s music lane would be complete without listening to the Ramones!
It was fun seeing him get in touch with his inner 17 year old girl and become the dancing queen
My favorite ABBA song! I remember having so much fun at the roller skating rink as an 11 year old when this song came out!! Great reaction, so happy you liked this terrific song!!
Roller rink vibe is correct. That statment made me laugh because it was so on target. This, Crimson and Clover and Queen of Hearts are the three songs that instantly transport me back to the roller rinks of the early 80s.
FYI, you;re too young to know this but this song swept the world about 1974 and started the disco era along with Rock the Boat and Rock Your Baby.
First time watching this mans videos , Are you kidding me . He scares me that he is so far advanced in his video tech ability . God Bless You and thank you for the video
I like the way this song is performed in the movie Mama Mia. Which all the song performed in the movie are all Abba songs. & yes Mama Mia is 1 of theyre songs.
I have to say it's my favorite from ABBA too.
Joe Cocker "Feelin Alright" "You Can Keep You're Hat On"
Love Rutger’s bass line! He was amazing on the bass
Great band i've always wished ABBA and the BEE GEEs could have collaborated on an album that would have been epic
Did ya know that Benny Andersson (piano) forbid Roger Palm (drummer) to use any cymbals and hi-hat on this beat. His simply took them away in the studio wich Roger disliked. Benny were very picky on the sound.
Later during mixing, they changed opinion and brought Roger back into the studio, only to record the Hi-hat wich they later mixed into the final version of Dancing Queen. 😂
lace them skates up!!! and let's go! straight fire son!!! yes!
Hey james that abba song is inspirational. I love it.
Came for ABBA. Stayed to watch you dance.
Well, if you like this group, some other groups to consider:
1. The Go Gos - Our Lips Are Sealed, We Got the Beat, Vacation, Head Over Heels
2. Bananarama - Venus, Cruel Summer, I Heard a Rumour
3. Bangles - Manic Monday, Walk Like an Egyptian, Hazy Shade of Winter, Eternal Flame, Going Down to Liverpool
4. Vixen - Edge of a Broken Heart, Cryin', How Much Love
I've read several times that Queen Elizabeth II likes this song very much.
ABBA at the Top on Disco
There is a movie that came out about 5 years ago or so with all their hit songs in it call "Mama Mia". The group was made of to marry couples at the time who hailed from Sweden At the time of their hits they did not know how to speak English, but they were able to sing in it...and they did a Dang good job… lol!
British guy called Rag and bone man,the song is called Human, you will absolutely love it.
ABBA. Knowing Me, Knowing You, S.O.S.
You need the song Gimme, Gimme, Gimme from them in your life. ;-)
I'm commenting before watching this video because I'm looking forward to hearing the video and watching your reaction. When this song came out I had just met the woman that would be the mother of my kids and she had just become my girlfriend. Abba was her favorite group and she played this song for me and I quickly learned that the song perfectly described her! She was a disco dancer and a disco dance contest winner! Always shy with the girls in school, after an enlistment in the Army I went from being awkward with women to being with The Dancing Queen!
