I leave the juice in my rotel and it makes it even better...I have been making this for decades but I use ground beef instead of pork.
Same!!! I put a bunch of seasoning in mine as well. I dont put onion I put crushed garlic. and I leave the juice in mine.

I made it slightly different because I couldn't find sausage. I used ground beef and taco seasoning. My boyfriend was concerned about how much I was making. We ate a lot of it that night. Then had added it to breakfast burritos next day. Then added to steak burritos. Then I used up the last of it on baked potatoes. This is not too much lol.

I just made this and it is a great party recipe. Mine came out a little sweeter than expected. Still had lots of flavor though. I’m thinking it was either the cream of mushroom, the bbq seasoning or the type of wood Pellets I used. Still a great recipe and makes a TON of queso!

HEB has a White Cheddar cheese condensed soup or Campbell's has a cheddar cheese condensed soup that would work great for those who don't want to use cream of mushroom

This is one of the easiest and best tasting recipes out there!! One suggestion, don’t use pre-shredded/diced cheeses. They use potato starch to keep them from sticking together in the package. It seems to make your dip congeal and it’s also not keto friendly!

Great video but a couple of questions. What flavour pellets did you use in the smoker? What kind of pork sausage did you use? Mild/Hot Italian? Bratwurst? etc? Have you ever tried to saute the onions before you put them in?

If you dont want to use velveeta, HEB sells a thick block of american cheese in a clear blue wrapper.Its a really good quality and it makes great queso.Try it.Just use it the same way you would velveeta.I add evaporated milk so my dip wont be too thick.

An amazing cook, a sweetheart and she's gorgeous to top. Triple threat.
The Queso dip I make is different.. it’s a white Queso dip.. I use white American cheese from the deli like a pound and half.. I slice it into cubes..than I put my rotel (with the green chillies) in and I use the rotel can to fill it up with milk.. then I pour the milk in and I cook it til it’s all melted.. keep stirring so it doesn’t burn.. it’s really good.. I’ve put it on macaronis before.. it’s so good and cheesy.. the white American cheese melts really well
