@Law By Mike, Liloâs sister is âNaniâ not Nina
Dora
0:47 seconds in and I have to object
This isnât our world weâre talking about.
Completely different laws.
Once upon a time gladiators had battles
We even have a history with bulls (that is still legally going on)
PokĂ©mon are considered fighters just like boxers. They donât die and theyâre medically attended to. They also enjoy it so theyâre not forced.
I donât know what you were thinking Mike.
Iâll do you a favour and not call out the other flaws with your laws.
On Lilo and Stitch it's Nani not Nina
3:11 HOLD IT! Although kidnapping and torturing someone are serious crimes , Syndrome is also guilty for the deaths of former Supers and domestic terror, isnât he?
Yeah, he is
@@Fascinating_world206 Agreed. He is.
And the attempted murder of the entire Incredibles family
He has killed hundreds of heros
Also keep in mind that he kidnapped the whole family
I would object to Ashâs case as he lives in a world where his government allows said animal fighting
That is true
Also the term âanimalâ doesnât really work since Pokemon can be anything from electric mouse, literal magnets, dragons, ghost like beings, creatures directly inspired by East Asian mythos, and literal gods.
@@tadashihatsudai they also have human level intelligence and are consenting to those battles
and pokemon battles are considered a professional sport, hence the existence of gyms and the pokemon league, and the fact that trainer IDs, often in the form of a card or a pokedex, are a thing.
ALONG with it being kind of a cultural thing. I mean everyone from kids to big companies does it.
1:50 OBJECTION: Itâs also stated in the same movie that Woody is the only toy of his kind in the entire world, so wouldnât that give him a grand larceny charge as well if the prosecution could prove it ?
Huh cool
We have a Legal Eagle fan, I see.
Alex Baleâs Meta Theory: weâll see about that.
*OBJECTION OVERULED MY BRO!*
only lawyers are allowed to object... So are you one?
@@idehenebenezer802 Not true. You can object if you're representing yourself. You _shouldn't_ represent yourself, but you can. But only judges can overrule objections... So are you one?
2:51 Sir , you forgot all the other charges like Serial murder,
Mass property damage,
Endangerment
Breaking and entering,
Abuse,
Torture,
Terrorism,
Weapons dealing,
Unlawful imprisonment,
Attempted cultural genocide,
Crimes against humanity,
Hate crimes,
Child endangerment,
Attempted child murder,
Disturbing the peace,
Conspiracy,
Corruption,
Stalking,
Fraud,
Child abuse,
Abuse of power,
Psychological abuse,
Assault and battery,
Smuggling,
Bribery,
Embezzlement,
Sabotage,
Treason,
Theft,
Con artistry,
Forgery,
Kidnapping,
Organized crime.
So that will be two death sentences, two life sentences, thirteen years in prison and hundred million dollars fine
that's wild đđđ
Bro really tried the every crime challenge
What? Cultural genocide? Supers are illegal. How could you prove cultural genocide. In fact, he uses his tech to make himself a super hero. Explain, please.
Hate crimes donât exist to a rational human being
Can we get much lower
There's no laws against the Pokemon Batman

5:00 So, youâre saying itâs okay for NASA to collect some moon rocks, but if Gru does it, heâs the baddy, just because his rock is bigger.
He took the whole fucking moon, that's not just some "space pebbles" that's the whole moon.
There would be reason to take pebbles for research. There wouldn't be reason to take the ENTIRE FUCKING MOON

Yea
Ruh roh raggy
You should also bring up how syndromeâs computer also says this isnât the first time heâs done this and heâs actually killed many former supers before Mr Incredible
Actually, according to Mousaitâs video on the crimes Gru commits, he would get jail time for stealing the moon, but he would be pardoned because he put the moon back afterwards.
I believe even if you put it back you would still be charged. It might be some states in the United States of America but I am unsure due to being from Australia.
@@Jinglejaco121 I donât know; I got it from another CZcams channel that charged Gru with his crimes
Hereâs the link to that video: czcams.com/video/G3f2gGA5KFY/video.htmlsi=mmuK9iOlBgnRW04c. The time stamp of when he (Mousait) charges Gru with the crime of stealing the moon (as well as the pardon/ why he was pardoned) in the video is 5:52-6:34
Didnât he get pardoned by the AVL?
That doesn't make sense in a "real world" thought experiment. You do not get pardoned or not charged with a crime for undoing it or whatnot. .
@@SliceofBread-pz3fx Again. Look at the other video. It doesnât have to make sense. Just look at the other video ok (please). But yes, admittedly, it wouldnât work in the real world, I just went by what the other video said

Objection!
Your honour, Pokémon Battles are an entirely legal sport in each region Ash visits.
Furthermore, Pokémon are shown to posess near-human levels of intelligence and are willing participants.
I am kind of curious what the Rocket Trio would get for their crimes. Multiple counts of abduction, theft, stalking, identity theft, endangerment, selling food without a licence...
Objection! In the sequel (I think), Gru was pardoned after joining that hero group.
THERES NO LAWS AGAINST THE POKĂMON BATMAN
OK, Iâm subscribed and I love your channel but you gotta understand that PokĂ©mon battling is literally normal where they come from even enjoy it, especially when they have trainers brother sides and itâs not a big deal. Itâs really entertaining actually have a good trainer that they wonât mind fighting for them sides like I said enjoy it and they seem to have a blast while doing it even thanks manâ€
Actually Mike, PokĂ©mon fighting in captivity is safer because they naturally fight each other in the wild and donât get healed. Itâs the equivalent of humans playing sports.
Well, let's be real, it's a lot more like boxing than football. And combat sports are... shall we say, controversial, for a reason.
@@RabblesTheBinx well, Pokémon are capable of consenting to fight, and forcing unwilling Pokemon to fight is a crime.
OBJECTION stich got legally adopted right after the start of the movie the papers would just have to be changed to a child adoption instead of a dog as sitch is sentient
Youâre right
Also the social worker for lilo was also a federal agent and he was totally fine with it
'Poke-e-man are magical creatures' nearly took me out. XD
Another LawByMike video makes my day bright again
I object that fictional characters should only be held liable under the laws of their respective settings. This is specifically about Ash/Satoshi, but may also apply to SpongeBob.
I donât know this for sure but I think the term is I move, Iâm sorry, Iâm not trying to be the grammar police but I had to say this because I was in 4H and FFA and have practiced parliamentary procedures. I donât know if that is how it is in law
If Sponge Bob Went To Jail Then Mr Krabs Is Breaking Him Out Just Because He Needs Sponge Bob To Cook The Food
We need to cook Sponge
True Mr.Krabs can't make money without Spongebob
He wouldn't spend a cent to bail him out but he would rather just do a prision heist if he could.
Ash wouldn't get charged because Pokémon fighting is a legal sport

This was a video i didn't know i needed. Funny yet insightful stuff Mike.
I donât know about the Scooby-Doo one, they were asked to find a bad guy in disguise, this is why they broke and entered into all the buildings, so I think they might be pardoned. If not, the would only be charged with breaking and entering, not the other crimes, this is because they had permission from people to go into the buildings, they would be charged with breaking and entering if they didnât have permission to enter the building(s).
valid point
@@Epic_Watermelon_Cat Thank you! Iâm happy to see that somebody (that person being you) agrees with me.
I never thought I would see Law By Mike talking about the crimes in Scooby Doođ
Squidward: gee I sure do love to drive my new Chevy Silverado SpongeBob: Hi Squidward!!
Syndrome had a direct had in Killing more than a half dozen Supers , he'd be looking at ALOT more than 40 Years.
I love how Mike is talking calmly at the video
Pretty good man! I want more!
Mike in shorts: Bizzare and crazy
Mike in long form: Actually formal like a lawyer
0:50 OBJECTION! im near certain that in canon the pokemon also enjoy battling.
This is brilliant đ
Mr law by Mike you make learning about laws and the legal system cool đ
âGOLDEN GAVEL!â
That was most needed for the most unneeded reasons.
Who else loves how Mike gets straight to the point?
He doesnât all the time
07:16 bro mike is trying so hard to hold back his laugh đâ
This is all well and good. There's just one problem. As the worlds biggest (casual) Lilo and Stitch fan, I'm obligated to be infuriated by this... Her name is Nani.
None for ash. In the Pokemon world theirs a whole registration process, it's a full legal government sponsored thing
love you mikey đ
Definitely needs to be a part 2
This is a great video đđ.
I need to see the outtakes of this video, how can you not laugh while listing out their crimes
Were is Riggy, he has committed over 7000 crimes

Law by Mike is like the irl Saul goodman
Hey law by mike let's not forget that much of these characters would also have more charges in which I would like to know more about
Reminds me of that one episode where SpongeBob put that he committed "lots and lots of felonies" on his job application because Squidward told him a felony meant being too happy all the time
Mikes the idea of a good lawyer to me. I wonder though, whens the last time you actually practiced Law Mike? I'd imagine you have a practice where you sit at the top
Dora crossing the border isnât new the reboot came out yesterday and she still fails đ
Heâs coming to know his audience :) Itâs pretty cute seeing my kids pay attention to many of his posts here. He gives them such an extensive scope of applications and applicable considerations regarding behaviors they easily see or hear of in the news, but also their cartoons! đâ€đ
Spongebob also did kidnapping, murder, attempted murder, arson, being drunk in public places, DUI (I believe) breaking people out of prison, destroying the Krusty crab and boating school many times, endangering Miss Puff multiple times, driving without a license and many more đ
Law by mike is the only youtuber i trust fr
Laws of Pokemon would be irrelevant to their world, especially for how normal it is. Probably (non-consensual) trafficking (if they traded) is the furthest he could be charged.
Ash- revoke the sentence please, pokemon fighting is illegal
The tiger guy(forgor his name)- add more sentences for attempted murder
The guy who stole woody(forgor name too)- add grand larceny
Lilo- đ
Syndrome- add genocide, many attempted murders
Gru- đ
Dora- boots isn't her pet, but her friend, he is sentient
Bros becoming Phoenix Wright đ ( i love the content of what you're making dude )
I thought Mike would talk about all the damage his Pokémon did. Like telling his Pikachu to use powerful electric charges on Team Rocket.
It was self defense
Can we have more videos like this Mike please and thank you
Wouldn't Mystery Incorporated be a group of vigilantes. Another question would be do they have a private investigator's license.
This is really cool
Charging Ash with a crime for Pokémon fighting is like charging a boxer with assault and battery for knocking someone out in the ring
Well tai lung isn't a villain he would get long time in prison for assault or murder of many people in the valley of peace(ionic that the place called valley of peace suffered this much violence and if so should shifu also have time in prison because he basically fueled tai lungs desire to be the dragon warrior and misguided him (accidentally) so he was the passive party in the crime while tai lung was the active party. So how long would he be in prison for?
honestly did not see Lilo & Stitch coming, but in context Nani unfortunately makes a lot of sense
0:41
You forgot itâs more like boxing IRL
Do Bill Cypher next!
For LawByMike: in spongebobs charges you forgot to mention that he would be charged of Vehicular Manslaughter for how much people spongebob ran over.
Hold up Lilo sister wouldnât be under arrested because cobra bubbles is with the government but allow them to have stitch even supporting them as long as sheâs a fit guardian so nani and Lilo would actually be fine
You also forgot to add battery and assault to Tai lung as he did hit master shifu he also tried to steal the dragon scroll also don't forget that Tai lung also fought po
5:24 but gru got pardoned by the mayor so his charges are 0
When we were board me and my brother would watch 2 or 3 spongebob episdes while writing down all the crimes all the charactars in each episode .
Don't forget that Shaggy was went AWOL from army camp
No way a man with almost no knowledge on Pokemon said Ash would be arrested for animal fighting. Pokemon Battles are common sport in that universe. Officer Jenny isn't just one day gonna go, "I'm placing you under arrest for the crime of using Vine Whip in a normal, friendly Pokemon battle."
I know you're a lawyer, but it doesn't work like that.
Mike, you forgot thousands of counts of Vehicular Assault as well as Hit and Run for the Spongebob case.
Nah bro shaggy gonna have to start going off camera for his adventures now
Ok i think i may agree with gruâs charges here because he also adopted kids, and saved possibly the whole world atleast once so id say it evens out a bit
Objection. Ash wouldn't get any time. In the Pokemon world, mystical animal fights are legal... amoral, but legal. Still... he might be on the hook for a few hundred dollars, after all, I don't think he ever repaid Misty for he bike.
5:24 When you go from breaking American law to international law, you deserve a special place on the list.
The CEO of Monsters Inc might be sentenced to all those years in prison, but his sentences would be severely reduced once the other inmates discovered that his crimes involved harming children.
Finally, normal opera and not opera GX
Thereâs nothing wrong with either

Lawyers can represent you in court and they know how to deal with your case better than yourself and you don't have to miss work/school/etc.

Outer space treaty: space belongs to no one
America with the apollo landing sites: Hold my beer
Oh my God I've loved thisđđđđđđ
Make a video about charging eobard thawn ,savitar ,zoom and thinker and oliver queen for their crimes
Most of these are fine like Waternoose, Spongebob, Mystery Inc, Al, and Dora I guess but the others are either completely invalid or extremely obvious. Ash is from a world that works completely differently to ours where those things aren't illegal. Tai Lung was already in prison presumably for life its not like him beating up some guards changes anything. We already knew he was a horrible criminal. Similarly with Syndrome we already know he's this horrible villain. He kidnapped a bunch of people and blew up a plane and its extremely obvious that yeah he'd be locked away for a long time. It baffles me that the blowing up the plane and then later putting people in danger as well as kidnapping a child weren't brought up in this video at all. Also he's dead. And Gru is another one that is not only extremely obvious but also in the second movie he was basically pardoned by the AVL so it doesn't really matter what he did in the first movie.
Nina⊠I am wounded lol (itâs Nani, but I understand how you could confuse it but also oof right in the childhood lol)
5:03 yeah yeah... These laws are intact until people see something valuable
Remember that Gru got pardoned by the AVL
Given this, I'm wondering how many death sentences the characters in, say, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners would be catching under a legal system like ours.
But that's a world where someones de jure degree of criminality is basically "yes" and de facto is "how much have they pissed off a corporation?"
It's a good thing I know the difference between Fiction and reality
SpongeBob didn't even list his damage to city property causing mass destruction to the city soo many damages lol
they do have some good legitimate concerns, they just arenât bringing them up
Mr Waternoose would also be charged with âtorturingâ, because he tortured the children.
But he didn't. The scream extractor was a brand new process where boo was going to be the first victim
@@derekhandson351Really?
Wouldnât he then be tourturing Boo though, or no?
where can i get one of those Better Call Mike mugs?? I need one.
So quick question regarding animal endangerment. How do police and military animals circumvent laws around dangerous situations?
Charged with breaking the treaty of non ownership of outer space.
Also charged with destruction of government property by destroying their landing sites of the moon.
