I remember when I watched a Holocaust survivor they were asked how did it get to that point and their answer was just two words “slowly slowly”.

And the phases were multiple. The first started accosting and assaulting Jews (and other non desirables) in the streets. Then they fired them from jobs.
They waited to see the reaction.
Then they removed them from their homes and placed in ghettos (walled, guarded areas)
They waited for the public’s reaction
Then they shipped them to Labor Camps
They waited for a reaction
Then ovens
But probably the very first thing was manipulation perception of Jews.
Our media has done it with Conservatives and Christians
