Both servers the different purpose, Both have their own advantages and limitations. I like to use charcoal for extra dark values, I like to use graphite for lighter tunes and details

Yes you can use white charcoal for highlights if you are working on toned paper or black paper. If you are working on white paper you can just leave the negative space for highlights

Hi, could you please tell me how to sharpen this pencil? I've purchased this pencil only, however I'm having a hard time getting it sharpened even for the very first time, I've already broken it 2 times while sharpening it with regular sharpener.

If the lead 8s breaking , do one thing first sharpen in using pencil cutter blade, then use sand paper to get sharp tip

I bought this brustro white charcoal pencil yesterday but its not working when we draw over the charcoal, it only works in plane drawing sheet

You can to blend the charcoal before you apply white, however it is suggested to leave the highlights blank, for the better results, if you already make the area dark and then use this white charcoal over it then it will get mixed up with the charcoal, it's not possible to achieve bright highlights

Yes you can use once you have blended the graphite layer
