- In today's video, we are unboxing and trying out these white charcoal pencils by the start-up company Pasler! Pasler's team was kind enough to send me two free samples of their white charcoal pencils to test out on my channel. Even though I was sent these pencils for free, this video is not sponsored and I am therefore not paid for my review. Everything I say in the video is an honest first impressions review of these pencils!
Since we are doing a review, we are going to be creating an entire drawing with a background to really test out the capabilities and quality of the pencils! I am using these in combination with my regular General's charcoal pencils, since this is how I would actually use the pencils in reality. I hope that you guys find this video fun and useful!

Hey guys, today I’m trying out these white charcoal pencils by Pasler! Let me know in the comments if you like white charcoal also! I am also going to let you know that Pasler has now paid me afterwards for making this video, so when I said in the video that this is unpaid, that is now incorrect! However, this is my true and honest review of the product! They are a start-up company, and I am very impressed by the quality!
I've never tried white Charcoal I didn't even know that existed White Charcoal lol
@@marioultimateart90 it’s not exactly real charcoal either, kind of like white chocolate😂
exelenteeeeeeeee
great looking shark 😁 the water reflections on him are really well done
I definitely had a lot of fun drawing that part😊 thank you!!
What an incredibly great shark you drew! I don't know why, but I really liked the tan. It somehow made it more prehistoric looking or maybe its because I'm color blind. Sure I noticed the lag in videos, but I'm glad you're not letting you tube run your life. I appreciate the videos that you have time to do.
Thank goodness I’ll have a schedule change this summer. I want to dedicate much more time to this channel haha. Thank you btw! Maybe I should’ve left the tan. Oh well though. I just bought some toned blue paper so that will be fun to use eventually as well
I really love this drawing,. Waiting fr nxt drawing 😍
thank you so much! very soon
Oh wow, I love it! Not too much at all - it looks magnificent.
I’m glad you loved it!! Thank you Miranda!!
Oh wow Alexis! Your channel is really growing! Well done, you have worked so hard and are such a consistent creator! Another brilliant unboxing and review! 😊
Thank you Amy, its always nice to see you in my comments :) I am trying my best haha!
Great Artwork 10/10
Thanks so much:)
I think...this is gourges Ilustration dear! Awesome! and also if you didn't make the background with these pencils, it would have looked very beautiful, because of the nice combination between the tan paper and the black and white charcoal pencils🥰 I really love this!🥰❤️💛
Thank you! I know what you mean, I kind of regretted the background! Sometimes I don't know where to stop😂 ahhhh! thank you, this was really fun to make!
Fantastic picture!
thank you!:)
@@AlexisCassandraArt you’re welcome ☺️
That’s such a cool drawing, I really like the seascape details along with the shark itself. I hadn’t seen this brand before…I will look out for them! The white pencils look good on the tan, as I am sure they would on grey. 😊
Thank you!! The drawing, even though it turned out kind of busy, was really fun to create! Charcoal is fast enough of a medium that I got it done without a lot of headache too haha. The brand is a start up and I was impressed at the quality! I will buy some toned grey soon just so I can do my charcoal drawings on that!
Perfect timing as I was just looking at white charcoal pencils. These seem to be a great option. The shark is fantastic, hope you can get grey toned paper to show us more drawings like this one!!
They work really well! Especially in combination w regular charcoal. Thank you btw. I will be getting more toned papers soon!
Very helpful. I'm actually in the process of picking up drawing again (after many, many years). To begin with I'm going for black/gray tones/white with just hints of color. The whites being actually the biggest question mark. So these will definitely go on my shopping list. Will give me more options. (though for the moment, because of shipping costs It'll probably be a similar set by Koh-I-Noor) So a nice coincidence you reviewing these. :) Thanks!
PS. Thought the shark looked awesome on it's own already.
The white will help you to get the highlights you need! They also work great for blending! I have heard the Koh-I-Noor sets are good too! And thank you, I guess that tan background bothered me ahh!
Wow so nice 👌👌👌
New friends 🤝
Thank you!!
Welcome🥰
Not going to lie, as a kid I always wondered what the use for white colour pencils were but this is v cool to see
Also the fact the shark came out way more grey and realistic than just drawing it with a grey colour pencil
Oh yeah, using the black and white in contrast with each other really makes for a nice result! haha I am glad you enjoyed it. white colored pencil is pretty useless on just white paper tbh
Hi Alexis!!
Hello!:)
Hey so I like coloring realism but I hate doing it with colored pencils it takes so long to do and it’s kind of annoying. Would you recommend using pastel or graphite or charcoal to do realism?
Well, a charcoal set including a white charcoal pencil and 3 grades of regular charcoal is fairly cheap and easy to find! I would try that first. Pastel is a bit more expensive. I have some pastel pencils that are nice to use though, but I’d start out with the charcoal!
@@AlexisCassandraArt ok I got some Fabre Castell soft pastel just too see I haven’t used them tho I’m gonna buy some charcoal as well thank you
Pasler probably meant to send you a white and a black set instead of two white sets. Good video. Thanks
I could have maybe requested it as they originally told me they wanted to send me just the white! Thank you!
$5 contribution to buy grey toned paper. lol
Thank you so much😂 I’ll buy some this weekend
