How to draw portrait with charcoal powder - ASMR drawing

Using charcoal powder for drawing is a quite effective way to achieve a smoother-looking artwork. I have used the following tools for drawing: charcoal powder, graphite, cotton swabs, makeup brushes.

He's probably using makeup pads. They're great for spreading powered color or charcoal power around.
